You shouldn't forget that Kou brings out the real Futaba and makes her shine the brightest. They'll last a life time, the timing just wasn't right btw them and both got taken advantage of.

(Also I know that drama in you DP but was the girl pinning the whole show too? Futaba tried to move on but couldn't because both had a connection- been a while since I remembered)

Kou pinned as much for Futaba and she did for him but she wanted to be rejected and Narumi took advantage of Kou. He tried to be her emotional support he never had and it broke him. It's only after Futaba showed him that life goes on and that it's valid to move forward that he realises he is allowed to be happy and that a relationship wouldn't harm futaba. Basically Narumi was dragging him fown whilst Futaba lights up his world and gets him to move forward. You have to keep in mind that they are still young and figuring life out. Mistakes are a great thing and sometimes you hurt people you love out of love.

Kou wasn't jealous of Futaba, he knew a relationship in his current condition wouldn't work and feared it would harm Futaba. He felt guilt for moving forward with his life. Touma rushed Futaba after he realised Kou wad trying to explain everything to futaba.

the chemistry btw the leads was great, i loved the visuals and kou's growth but s2 was paced well, definitely prefer the manga over this

didn’t really like the 2nd ML and the 2nd FL not feel bad for them but guess the drama captured youth well
