I love all his crying scenes in SF4, each one is very different from another. I actually was reluctant to watch SF4 because of that FL but because i came across his crying videos that i decided to watch it and was so impressed by his acting 😭

I think it's because HL didn't have many twists and turns in the plot while SF4, lol, it's full of unfair events one after another for YTH so we all eagerly want to see how he would overcome them all 😢

CZY really brought S+ acting skills in SF4. He perfectly portrayed the tragic fate of YTH 😭😭

Actually the script for SF4 isn't too bad, still watchable... but the acting skills of other 3 main leads except CZY are very... stiff. They are not good match for CZY because they made him out of place especially in emotional scenes. Do you remember the scene when YTH was crying his heart out smashing the stone door until his hands covered with blood? He was too immersed in the role but when the screen turned to SML and FL, their emotion couldn't match his... it was the same through out the whole drama, they always had less to bring than CZY so it always felt wrong and mismatching while watching it...

That's why it's such a blessing to follow his journey. It's always so exciting because you will never get bored with his acting. Even with VS, he's different in every show 😇

TWOT is coming very soon. His new magazine and VS with LJ are the clear signs of it being released soon. DNAD will air this year after TWOT (Oct-Nov). Just wait a bit more 🥺

I don't think he will die because he plays a character who represents the new China fighting against Japanese's spies. They won't have let him have a tragic ending because his side is the righteous side and he is a police officer. This is spywar drama, not a sad love story lol.

idk about LQ but CZY didn't have good resources to choose from in the first place.
And his taste may be different from yours as well since he loves his character in HS so much and it's his most recognized character before HL. the 3 dramas you like, the characters are all typical romcom male leads who are all green flag, it would be boring to play these types all the time. He tends to like characters which are a bit more challenging to act like Xiao Yuer, Lizan and now FSG (also Yu Xuan and Chang Geng which haven't been aired yet) and that's the mindset a good actor should have.

I think that's why they added the "amnesia plot" and they will connect her "falling of the cliff" plot to something political I think (I assumed this based on the synopsis)
Also, SML in the novel is a fine character, if acted correctly, he will get some love from the audience. He sacrificed a lot for FL lol. So if the crew wants to push this actor, it would be easy to do it.

I didn't read the novels fully, just some parts but i can answer your questions.

1. FSG fell in love first (almost love at first sight when he was shot with her arrow). FL didn't love ML at first bc she loved 2nd ML deeply. She jumped of the cliff because she's heart-broken about his marriage (i think this plot will be changed in the drama)

2. Yes it was Yixiao's arrow that injured him, it was also the concept for the official poster. And no he hasn't filmed a battle scene yet.

3. I heard there's no kidnap scene in the novel. So this is an added plot to the drama. (I'm not sure, can someone confirm it?)

4. FSG did this to provoke SML because at that point SML didn't know his missing female general has fallen to the hands of prince of Susha (FSG). This was when SML come to his country for the political marriage.
