So i tried watching Blossoms in Adversity because it has the same director as Wan Xin Ji and I decided to drop it at episode 10 now. I find the male lead character very boring and female lead very cliche... (sorry to the fans of these actor/actress). I truly hope Wan Xin Ji is better than this drama....

He is also known for pushing his artists hard. BL and XK are also under him. So actors/actresses who signed with him never have to worry about good resources...

The plot has CZY's character fallen for his 'father' since the beginning as well. He was struggling throughout the whole story to keep it a secret. Damn how i want to watch his acting so much 😂😂😂

High reservations are useless if the drama isn't good (Fox spirit had 7m+ and it is flopping). so i'm not looking into much now. I hope TWOT can become a black horse that will surprise everyone like the current Youku drama.

There's no hope. Both are heavy romance so no editing can change this into bromance lol, especially CZY's eyes acting. Even from the leaks, it's not the eyes of a son looking at his 'father'. Tencent should just give up and give people what they want...
