From what i know she hasn't taken any project this year so we'll see. This type of strong female lead character (in physical strength) is hard to pick. But I like the male lead's character design in Changling so much (sick but witty), CZY would fit perfectly.

Yang Yang shot to top 1 traffic after his modern drama but it was a long time ago. We have hope with TWOT because it's not your typical modern drama. And CZY's acting is better and more versatile than the current top traffic stars as well so we'll see.

you know what. I think all of this happened because someone is afraid he will blow up. He has everything to explode from acting skill, appearance, down to earth personality to his right mindset. More importantly, he has a strong will to improve, willing for hard challenges and takes everything seriously. No disrespect to anyone but it' hard to find someone who checks all the boxes like him in this industry, even amongst the top traffic stars. That's why people are afraid, they don't want a strong competition like him to blow up because once he does, i'm sure he will be the priority for all the good roles in any projects.
I've just realized Wan Xin Ji might be the best costume project from 🥝 for him since his debut. Despite some of my concerns, the crew includes many well-known faces, especially the director. So there's improvement at least. 😭😭
SF4 is S level project, this one is rumored to be A level... so i think you should lower your expectations. But the CGI in SF4 must have costed a lot more than non-wuxia costume projects.
