You should check out Handsome siblings, you will be impressed by ZY's character and acting there. This is the role he still holds dear to his heart until this day (his weibo profile pic is still Little Fish from HS). Even though HYT is 1st billing, the main story focuses more on Little Fish which is played by ZY so you can skip HYT scenes if you don't like lol.

Our secret's FL gets better when you get used to it. Also a decent drama and that explans the drama's popularity as well. Others... very hard to say because they're all not good imo, some slightly and some much worse than Zheyuan, plots are also bad to add more oil the the fire...
Yes he should get a male centric role! But not the type of SF4 role please. I need him to play smart, sly, mature roles that have interesting straits/personalities so that his acting can shine.
