Actually acting was bad. she should have switched to anger mode instead she is still giving friendly love look. Once you know he is harming you , your situation changed. She is yet to show anger towards SRQ. May be he knows all her dirty secrets

This is not about acting at all. This is about CHARISMA. He is void of charisma. One of the reason people cant pity on his story line.

They should have shown how he got abused and castrated... and show how his family got killed in first episode.

he is shadow Male Lead. Drama is completely focussed on his story line

it peaked badly in 23 and 24. But 25,26,27,28 is ok comparatively. He is still here but everyone aware of what he is doing and preparing counter strategy ...but he dont die until last episode. This drama story telling arc is revolve around SRQ

Both ml and fl are depicted as very naive. They so far won by luck. They will have more last minute luck. This drama is not realistic portrayal. If people are stupid they die quickly in old time. No second chances or 9 lives of cat.

I think some of blame is going to go casting director in that they did not give them bunch of fighters follow them along . They got ton of ministers but no soldiers. Weird.

Even the few she has are very short like school children

he has no choice. The empress and him is not in talking terms for long long time. he has no where to go except her. She decided to kill him and and also crown prince. They will make sure emperor write his will and transfer crown prince to her son.

Hang the director and screen writer. They are useless for me. They did not give no GooseBump moment and failed big time in narrating a fantasy story in positive way. Poor mix and match of old bad technique like getting conned is not smooth ..its more of added plot. Even novel is writte you have to make it sure its written like DOUBLE drama. It was handled expertly.

Save the viewers from heart attacks. Good directors dont make their ML/FL as dumb and getting conned often. That shows lack of creativity and innovation in telling story
