SRQ in this drama is not good actor. he is acting too serious and lacked his own charisma. This is not real life documentary, but entertainment and he seems like he is new to business.

he did not work hard on his own role and how he is going to present it. He is just reading script in this drama

he did not create his own aura or charisma so he fail to attract anyone who say he is a good actor ...etc

he is born in year of dragon. They are always good actor in expressing subtle nuance emotion. Not sure this role fits that.

Wrong casting i think. He may fit the modern drama than wuxia fantasy as he got serious face.

Actually i cant be sure it will flop . Because ZHAO JIN MAI is sink , XU KAI is source. It could work some what .

That is all excuses. He shines when there is no pressure on him. He always on the move when camera on him. Same with year of tiger actor and actress.

They cant deliver lines. They cant emote well. Too much energy on year of tiger and year of pig born person. Who is famous tyear of pig? Elon musk. Who is tiger? Modi , Usain bolt etc

He may be prettiest that should not be used on men. Oh well.

It will flop if he acts with Zhao Jin Mai.

XUKAI best fit is zhao lusi - one is comedy queen and another is high energy person. Tiger and rose. ML - year of pig , Zhao lusi - year of tiger.

I used to think chinese are good in chinese astrology but now i know why they have no clue. All the books written on chinese astrology are 100% wrong. So they find it confusing why its not matching people.

So they never discuss it.

But i am observing this from 2013 when i accidently watched a Korean drama. Until then i never looked at people behaviour.

Most of us watch drama for its characters not the people behind the character.

she hesitate before she speaks. Meaning she is unsure of things. May be she can imporve in future. But she is a external beauty but shanggua girl is internal beauty. when she smile , she brighten everything. she got that stunning wicked smile

I never said bad thing about this drama until last night episode. There it clicked me that this drama is never about princess royal but about SRQ life.

LR and PEI wanted to change life this time around and try to save everyone.

But SRQ goal is make sure LR depends on him by cutting off her power by always throwing her into fire. Hoping she runs to him

First SRQ wants to get rid of crown prince because he eliminated his family in last life.

Second kill the emperor

Third Kill PEI so he can marry SRQ and become emperor.

That is his plan but LE and PEI will take the emperor post but it may happen at last episode

Until its all SRQ all time. if i try to skip , i have to drop the whole drama

prepared to get annoyed. More glorification of SRQ is the drama main purpose. if you think SRQ as the hero , then that point of view drama is good.

For me its cheating. The title is princess royal. We thought its about her and how she manage to outwit. INSTEAD she gets conned every time by SRQ

Now how much time ? Well SRQ screen time and add how much ML/FL talk about SRQ==90%!

skip his scenes and watch then its good. I started to do that because we know what he is going to do. I hate dramas where i know what is going to happen

He wants to show LR , only he can protect her. So he is creating many situations where she is forced to ask him help

PENT UP ENERY. SANYASA is killing him. So they consummate

He has no charisma! ZERO. Annoyance is not towards SRQ but direction. He fall to victim of DIRECTOR portrayal of the drama

Abusing Male lead...director have kidnapper and victim FETISH. ML is victim , SRQ is kidnapper

He will be poisoned to death. if you show weakness to your enemy then... once he threatened consort su , he will never be safe with her. She can kill him slowly with poison

I dont think so. If you check the drama , There is only two villain . SRQ and Consort Su. They still have 14 or 16 episodes. They cant find new villain so he will be taking 80% of screen time and annoy the hell out of everyone. I see rating will sky dive after today episode.

if i dont see any positive , i reduce my rating 10 to 7.

Princess knows about SRQ remembering. But SRQ may not aware but he is inclined to think she knows. So basically both knows that other person knows

Not really. You dont want to hear your ML/FL is weak and get connected easily is KDRAMA style plot when they have 100 epsiode drama. That is only way they can have 100 episode.

Here Wuxia / fantasy never have that kinda stuff. Plot is fine. Conning ? Nope

Its poor direction by the director of the drama.

You just dont want your Main Leads is dumb fools is unwatchable scenes when you have princess royal as title

you can as well say LEGEND OF SRQ.

Instead of annoying us with One episode , they will annoy us with 2 episode of SRQ creepy smile. That said there may be few good scene and that will be the end.

After that its politcis of how SU family try to revolt and replace crown prince with consort su son.

Actually she is perfect!. Its cut throat business when it comes to nobles and royals. You kill them first or get killed.

So everyone make a move even slight move by opposition.

Emperor is scared of his son replacing him if he support his son.

So Emperor wanted su clan to be his blade to suppress shanqqua

As you can see both of her children are not brought up that well

There is war inside noble families as well.

Emperor want to split them but he is not bright but a coward

Consort su will poison emperor and he probably die.

Then same thing happen as previous life , LR and PEI wanted to change the future but they wont be.
