EP 14 was on of my favourites. The way they shifted the focus onto the son was amazing. It showed that Gwan-sik and Ae-sun didn't come without flaws as parents and the trickle of those mishaps. A very nuanced story.
The writing in this show is absolutely amazing. Although I do wish they had showed more of young Gwan-sik's character development. His older version is A LOT more talkative which is a major improvement from him in EP5-6, where he was nearly depressed. One of his major flaws was that he would keep his emotions bottled up (which is why he blamed himself for his son's death). It would be cool to see more of his character and not just Ae Sun's development. The show seems a lot more heavily focused on Ae Sun and her daughter.
Both are amazing. I like KSH more in the Romantic genre but with unique stories. I like Ji Chang Wook more in…
I mean I still think KSH is better overall and picks better roles. Dramas like The K2 and Backstreet Rookie really hurt his acting to me because the dramas and roles aren't as good as compared to The Worst of Evil. However, Ji Chang Wook is most likely my 2nd favourite Korean actor.
my biggest beef is that there's no kiss on the final episodemy biggest flex is that the final episode aired on…
Agreed HAHA. However, for some reason I'm not that mad at it because their chemistry was SO good to me it kind of overshadowed that need. I still would've loved one of those EP5 type kiss scenes.
Seen SOME people complaining about Hyun Woo's character being naive and sensitive. There is a reason in EP16 they added the fact he was "duped/scammed" by a real estate agent despite being a lawyer. It shows his humanity even in the most trivial things. It grounds his character and Hae-in's. The whole synopsis of redeeming a failing marriage doesn't even come about if Hyun-Woo's character doesn't possess those qualities. Their ego, pride, and fear would've just let the marriage die off. That's just my 2 cents :)
this video is fairly long (20mins) and has a lot of their scenes if that helps haha!
