I thought the same. I always took her dialogue that ‘MF was the first one to propose in 1000 years ‘ and her subsequent what-if thoughts to appear less pensive and more immediate rebuttal to XY’s indifference to her proposal and demise and eventual suspicion that the OP god of the
universe might have been her
mortal muse.

But like MF has been friend-zoned so many times. Where does he get the confidence that things would have worked out for him if not for XY/XZ. Like Shen Li fell for XY in roughly some months/ days in Mortal World and MF was rather loud about his subtle feelings for 500+ years atleast( different story that our SL was probably a bit dense to that).

It’s extremely happily ever after in novel with grapes and munchkins( mentioned).🤭

It also seemed like he was seeking permission and needed those nudges of consent from the FL which goes well and consistent with his all over character.

I hope they give some POV to that because honestly he is far more accepting of his feelings for her than she is. Makes no sense why he would want to restrain?

I honestly hope they atleast show he was willing actually and she is just babbling about her coercing him like a cheat sheet thing to avoid further divine punishment. Because in the book, XZ was completely down for it, so🥺

The way episode 30 ended, could the cave scene actually continue in the next episode? There is a part of one of the trailers where XZ pushes SL on the cave bed and his hand grasps her( in that ‘ oh we will copulate now’ stereotypical gesture). I felt the end part editing of Epi 30 was rather odd that way.

Same hope. I kind of thought the white hair was a temporary thing? Because there is also a scene for them beside a river and they are having grapes. I just assumed his powers are coming back and hence he got his black hair back or something.😥

Ok to get that scene with the grapes and the wedding is my only dream now. All sweet moments are mostly over, angst and angst from now. So I hope they have the Lady Jin Wedding and then of course the announcement of the lil two munchkins.

Agreed. Anyways, his entire ancient god family is gone. The divine beings are basically living off his power. I would despise them too. Shen Li, like a fresh breath of air , is truly saving his life. Hopefully the series will do the novel justice and SL and XZ will find their happiness beyond the shackles of duty.

I love how conscious he was of the fact that they have a huge age difference, even for the immortal world. It’s cute how he is wary of it even though, in the current circumstances, for them to be together is not even a possibility.

It was such a proud moment to see her bounce back. What an excellent protagonist, so strongly motivated to fight her losses. Only wonderlands have XZs standing and protecting their precious ones, so SL striving on her own was truly a resonating moment.

Yes, there is duality of needs and wants. In their universe, the ancient god is the last celestial vanguard of the three realms. Azure King, an elite warrior, is revered almost as a heir apparent in spirit to the demon empress and her legacy. No love is either permissible or rational between identities of such stations. Yet SL and XZ seem like they actually do want the core souls within those armours of lofty titles and obligations. They can quit each other but not that very precious love that unfortunately binds them. I mean, yes XZ atleast seems onboard but SL still has plethora of gratitude to serve back her realm and her monarch.
