There has to be a prejudice against KBLs on this site. How is this just 8.1The average ratings are so much higher
No, it's just that some are trash. Korea is still learning to make good BL's. Some follow the old formula of jerk characters, poor communication and toxic shenanigans.
Yall talkin abou great chemistry in other shows when most don't even get close to the level of chemistry done in this one. The mains behavior next to each other screams BOYFRIENDS loud and clear, even some of the side characters point this out. And boy, they really went in for that kiss at the rooftop in the final episode.
Hwayoung's case is an excellent way of gauging people's maturity. So many children fail to realize T-ara's bullying scandal isn't Hwayoung's fault, it's the fault of toxic celebrity culture, toxic online culture and mob mentality culture.
It doesn't matter if it was Hwayoung who lied, or if was some random person who lied because liars will always exist. The issue here is that to this day, any random person makes up false claims then crazy mobs gather up to attack others and "make justice" with their own hands before checking the facts.
If you're here leaving hate comments, then you're a part of the problem. You're here mobbing to attack a person based on evidence you never saw in person and you would be the kind of person who would have bullied T-ara when the lies were first spread.
This isn't about who is lying nor who deserves punishment, this is about society forming gigantic mobs to bully and punish others, that's cowardice not justice.
A perfect case of ignore the comments and watch for yourself.
Listening to the comments might rob you of a very cute, non-toxic, light and heartwarming show with beautiful green scenery and great OST.
YeChan is the cutest BL Character I've ever seen and I don't think I'll ever see another tall and strong male actor delivering such a unique performance. Some people are confusing being stupid/dumb with being an innocent young farm boy having his first puppy love for an older, colder but cooler city guy.
It's true their chemistry isn't the spiciest passionate love some people want but there's room in the industry for this unique and refreshing cute younger farm boy and cold older city guy dynamic.
I think the problem in the chemistry between the characters felt like elder brother and younger brother, couldn't…
And that's exactly how Yul says he feels, but rather than being a problem, this heartwarming portrayal of puppy love from Ye Chan is what makes the show so good.
It's not that intense still can be very upsetting.
On episode 5 you're gonna witness an injustice, a jealous former friend who becomes a bully ends up in an accident and the bully victim ends up being wrongfully blamed to the point of self extermination.

"Rather than being hurt, what I fear is you and I not understanding each other."

Man is hella handsome and charismatic, no wonder those locals were fawning over him.
