Really? You found it was okay as he gripped his hand in the "holding ring" at the bus? That wasn't intrusive?…
And...? I don't give a fuck anymore. I'm not a rapist neither a harasser. If Haram is a rapist for you then so be it. This is just a show with fictional characters. Stop playing saint, I bet you watch much worse stuff.
I havent seen this drama yet. Do you compare it with bad buddy or last twilight??
I don't like comparing shows, each one has their positive and negatives. Our Dating Sim is a short and simple story about a high school crush rekindling, nothing revolutionary or intense. It's just a short dose of sweetness to pass time without frustration.
I don't get why people get so angry towards Teh. Try being in the character's shoes for once.
Teh isn't excused but definitely justified, just look at his family, the pressure his family, friends and society place on him. Not every teenager knows how to handle sexuality, homophobia and academic pressure in a mature way, give this poor boy a break. He never did anything seriously bad or evil on purpose.
Hey buddy! Thanks for dropping by.I haven't watched the new Hidamari yet. I've seen people raving about ITSAY…
Well I'm heartbroken. I was absolutely enjoying ITSAY then Ep4 came and hit me like a truck. I don't think ITSAY is on the same category as BLs in the original sense, it felt like realistic gay angst. Still an artistic masterpiece though.
Okay, boys look more and more feminine at our age... Do all the protagonists in BL need to look like this or is…
Then BLs are not for you. Learn about the genre instead of placing your expectations on a genre not made for you. Try Bara Yaoi or another genre with the strong masculine gay sex you're looking for.
I liked it but not that much. The actors are handsome, the archery scenes are elegant but the intensity isn't as high as I like. I'm not asking for smut or sex, there are many ways to increase the intensity of a BL.
The rating is too low, is it because its a mini-series? This a solid 9/10. Good acting, directing, comedy, and…
Yes, it's too low. This is my top 7th BL. It's funny, sweet and I don't think there is any other show where the characters are BL Actors acting in a BL.
I'm still waiting for a BL to beat that rooftop kissing scene from this one. We need more BL characters showcasing a stronger desire for their partners.
I'm not asking for +18. Just saying that when you really like someone you can't help but want to hug and kiss them.
Boy this show was an absolute snoozefest. One of the worst bls i’ve ever watched. The plot was boring, the acting…
Agree. It's one of the worst BLs I've ever seen. The only logical explanation is that the actors are too handsome for people to notice the characters' flaws.
Hey buddy! Thanks for dropping by.I haven't watched the new Hidamari yet. I've seen people raving about ITSAY…
I'm waiting for the final episodes of Doku Koi/Love is a Poison. Thanks for the other recs. Japan is on a new stage when it comes releasing BLs and I'm lovin it ^^
- Power Imbalance (not present, Jun is Ha Ram's superior)
- Boundary Breaking (Ha Ram never did anything non-con sexually speaking)
- Verbal, Physical or Sexual Abuse, Gas Lighting, Threats, Blackmailing (not present but the opposite. Ha Ram praises, encourages, motivates and supports Jun with no ill intentions.)
- Cause anxiety, fear and uneasiness (not present. Ha Ram made Jun more confident, courageous and made him feel safe. Jun was never afraid of Ha Ram and Jun was the one who initiated contact in some occasions)
Remember this is just a lighthearted Rom-Com. It was never meant to be taken seriously. Forget the real world and enjoy.
Another one who doesn't know the what real harassment is. Ha Ram isn't a criminal harasser and never was, I'll fight Ha Ram haters forever.
Requirements for harassment: - Power imbalance (Not present here, Jun is Ha Ram's superior)
- Disrespecting boundaries (Not present here. Ha Ram obeyed all boundaries that were set. He tried to avoid Jun when he was asked to leave then Jun himself approached Ha Ram on purpose on the bus)
- Threats, intimidation, blackmailing, abusive language, physical abuse, gas-lighting (Not present here but the opposite. Love bombing, praising, hugging, motivating, emotional support and consensual sex initiated by Jun himself...)
- Causes fear, anxiety, and feeling unsafe (not present, Ha Ram made Jun more confident, relaxed and made him feel safe)
Ha ram deserves a better pair. (Jun character is expressionless from start to end.Not sure its character design…
Finally someone that recognizes how much Ha Ram loved Jun wholeheartedly, perfect word to describe Ha Ram. Machine like life describes Jun perfectly as well.
Expressionless Jun could be bad acting but it's definitely character design too. Jun is called the South Pole Penguin and Ha Ram the North Pole Bear.
The south is a world apart from the north, the south is also colder. Just like Jun cold and distant taking ages to finally approach the Bear.
Hey buddy! Thanks for dropping by.I haven't watched the new Hidamari yet. I've seen people raving about ITSAY…
I started watching ITSAY, Ep1 is so good. The initial conflict is a little childish but I'm here for the drama haha. Very entertaining, refreshing high school/teen vibes.
Not exactly no chemistry but more like low chemistry. The intensity is too low, there isn't enough want and desire,…
Now that I stop to think about it, I exaggerated a little bit. I know very few BLs with intense chemistry where both characters desire each other intensely.
BL is a female fantasy after all, real gay men tend to desire each other a lot more than BL characters do.
1º - Our Dating Sim: Unresolved high school love rekindles into love bombing with a lot of cuddling, pecking and one intense kiss scene. They can't stop thinking about each other after years apart.
2º - Love Mate : Ha Ram fell hard in love just because his coworker Jun treated him nicely once. Jun takes long to open up but show is mostly intense full of shenanigans. Might trigger sensitive viewers.
3º - Where Your Eyes Linger: Very short but some high tension scenes.
4º - The Eighth Sense - Much longer show with some sparse high tension scenes every once in a while.
5º - Love for Love Sake - Takes a while but by the end Yeo Woon is literally crying to stay together with Myung Ha. Myung Ha takes too long to fully open up to love.
These are all I know where I personally believe there's a more intense chemistry, but none of these are outstanding in my opinion.
No one is pretending anything. If someone thinks a BL is the best then it is the best for them and period. Learn…
What I said is definitely NOT the same as you said. Once again you're telling people what to say and what not to say.
You: "Say it's best for YOU but not from Korea".
And I say screw that.
People are free to say T8S or SE are the best from the whole Korea. Even if you take away their free speech, you can't take away what they feel deep inside.
It will always be the best for them in their heart.
If Haram is a rapist for you then so be it.

The boys are so cute and handsome. There is some chemistry, cute and sweet moments but it's hard to ignore that Min was going to fucking "Q" Q.
The first episodes never happened. The first episodes never happened. The first episodes never happened.

Just like Jun cold and distant taking ages to finally approach the Bear.
That's the healing power of Ha Ram's love.

I can't pick a favorite. I'm more of a multi stan who cherishes moments from different shows❤️
