Our Dating Sim is a short and simple story about a high school crush rekindling, nothing revolutionary or intense.
It's just a short dose of sweetness to pass time without frustration.

I don't get why people get so angry towards Teh. Try being in the character's shoes for once.

Teh isn't excused but definitely justified, just look at his family, the pressure his family, friends and society place on him.
Not every teenager knows how to handle sexuality, homophobia and academic pressure in a mature way, give this poor boy a break. He never did anything seriously bad or evil on purpose.

Haven't seen it yet. I'm still recovering from ITSAY haha. At least they sorted things out by the end of Ep5.

Well I'm heartbroken. I was absolutely enjoying ITSAY then Ep4 came and hit me like a truck.
I don't think ITSAY is on the same category as BLs in the original sense, it felt like realistic gay angst.
Still an artistic masterpiece though.

Then BLs are not for you. Learn about the genre instead of placing your expectations on a genre not made for you.
Try Bara Yaoi or another genre with the strong masculine gay sex you're looking for.

I liked it but not that much. The actors are handsome, the archery scenes are elegant but the intensity isn't as high as I like.
I'm not asking for smut or sex, there are many ways to increase the intensity of a BL.

It's funny, sweet and I don't think there is any other show where the characters are BL Actors acting in a BL.

Awful Kidnap/Stockholm plot. I wish Min wasn't a criminal kidnapper, the show would be better if someone else kidnapped Q for Min to rescue.

The boys are so cute and handsome. There is some chemistry, cute and sweet moments but it's hard to ignore that Min was going to fucking "Q" Q.

(Not present here but the opposite. Love bombing, praising, hugging, motivating,
emotional support and consensual sex initiated by Jun himself...)

(not present, Ha Ram made Jun more confident, relaxed and made him feel safe)

Finally someone that recognizes how much Ha Ram loved Jun wholeheartedly, perfect word to describe Ha Ram. Machine like life describes Jun perfectly as well.

Expressionless Jun could be bad acting but it's definitely character design too.
Jun is called the South Pole Penguin and Ha Ram the North Pole Bear.

The south is a world apart from the north, the south is also colder.
Just like Jun cold and distant taking ages to finally approach the Bear.

That's the healing power of Ha Ram's love.

I started watching ITSAY, Ep1 is so good.
The initial conflict is a little childish but I'm here for the drama haha. Very entertaining, refreshing high school/teen vibes.

Now that I stop to think about it, I exaggerated a little bit.
I know very few BLs with intense chemistry where both characters desire each other intensely.

BL is a female fantasy after all, real gay men tend to desire each other a lot more than BL characters do.

1º - Our Dating Sim: Unresolved high school love rekindles into love bombing with a lot of cuddling, pecking and one intense kiss scene. They can't stop thinking about each other after years apart.

2º - Love Mate : Ha Ram fell hard in love just because his coworker Jun treated him nicely once. Jun takes long to open up but show is mostly intense full of shenanigans. Might trigger sensitive viewers.

3º - Where Your Eyes Linger: Very short but some high tension scenes.

4º - The Eighth Sense - Much longer show with some sparse high tension scenes every once in a while.

5º - Love for Love Sake - Takes a while but by the end Yeo Woon is literally crying to stay together with Myung Ha. Myung Ha takes too long to fully open up to love.

These are all I know where I personally believe there's a more intense chemistry, but none of these are outstanding in my opinion.
