I have been very busy so I had to pick whatever was available on Netflix (Kidnap) and I've finished Fermat's Cuisine.
Kidnap isn't my cup of tea, the actors are so handsome and cute but I don't like the criminal themes.

First of all you haven't completed all episodes so judge only based off what you watched.

Storyline isn't subjective, either the show writers did a great job or they didn't. The storyline is simple and believable.

Their kiss wasn't that sudden, perhaps you were oblivious to the glances and touches they exchanged, their connection is like an eigth sense.
Even Eun Ji instantly felt the connection between the two MCs.

So many people have casual sex or kiss strangers in real life and you're judging the show when it's not even the case here. There was an obvious build up before the kiss.

This show pales in comparison to the intense romantic chemistry and sexual attraction seen in other Korean BLs and it doesn't have to be, this isn't a competition.

If you love this show and was entertained by it, then period. It served its purpose.
