I absolutely adored this extra sweet alternate universe and the final twist.

As a multishipper I support all couples but Haruta x Kurosawa deserve more recognition for pushing so many boundaries.

No matter in which season or universe, Kurosawa had nothing but pure healthy love for Haruta. He admires Haruta as a person not as a "fresh meat". Just a litle reminder that Haruta is 35.

We need more mature BLs that paint older love in a positive light like Cherry Magic, Old Fashion Cupcake and Ossan's Love.

The way Si Won looks at Da Un when they kiss is so passionate.

All scenes were new scenes so it's not possible it was a flashback, and if it was the show did a poor job explaining the timeline of the last episode.

Characters:
Si Won came off as a immature daddy issues grumpy boy. Si Won cares so much about shallow beauty standards but got angry at Da Un for giving him a little push towards success.

Wake up Si Won! The price of fame and success is your soul.
Stop playing the saint and be grateful for the opportunities.

Da Un felt like a retarded slow-poke. He went trough worse but is much more mature and understanding than Si Won. Though I'm not sure Da Un is to be trusted, there's something off about him.

Da Un is a mixed flag.
Scary foe but strong ally, not scared of using his power, money and influence as he wishes. But seems retarded, unresponsive sometimes and can't take a hint.

Last episode was a chaotic mess. They were fighting then making up, then fighting again and making up again twice in a row??? Then Beautiful kiss scene and the show ended with huge question marks.

Extra points for showcasing a strong female character defending herself from a harasser.

Wasted potential. Poor engagement, confusing character behavior but beautiful kissing scenes.

The drama wasted too much of the little time it had with irrelevant conflicts. The build up was weak, and when the show finally started to get interesting, it threw the momentum away with more immaturity.

The romance and sexual tension is too low. When they finally started to get fluffy and romantic, they quickly got back into stupid conflicts.

The show tried to explore difficult themes like: Korean Beauty Standards, Bullying and Divorced Parents, but they failed to convey the emotional intensity of these topics.

There are shorter BLs out there delivering much more from start to finish.

Can you guys name other short KBLs that do physical intimacy better than this one? I doubt it.

From the same Studio (Studio Winsome), Love Mate and Our Dating Sim are the best physical intimacy KBLs ever. There's so much hugging, pecking and intense kissing without getting vulgar.

Most top ranked KBLs don't even get close to the amount of love bombing scenes these two shows have.

You don't know what real kissing and real boyfriends chemistry is unless you have watched Love Mate and Our Dating Sim.

This is a rare instance of a KBL that doesn't give viewers crumbles.
When it comes to sweet physical intimacy, very few BLs come close. The kissing scene of Our Dating Sim beats so many BLs out there in a breeze.

Initially, I also thought Haebom was a damsel in distress. A perfect husbando that's too good to be true. However, the show quickly threw this possibility out of the window.

He was a very mature and emotionally strong young lad. He was grateful for his foster mother and wanted to avoid problems. Haebom was focusing on his future, enduring the bullying because it was his last year and he knew he would never see the bullies again.

He did scream back at them though. Haebom is much stronger emotionally than people give him credit for.

Judging by the first half, you're completely correct. The intensity is too low. Low sexual tension, and irrelevant conflicts. I hope the final episodes get better because I've seen shorter BLs deliver much more in a much shorter time.

In the sky is an Alternate Universe not a reboot. The original universe received follow up seasons after In the Sky.
In the Sky is a fluffier and cuter alternate universe IMO, I love all versions.

Sometimes, Japanese people take way too long to fully embrace and vocalize their love for others. That's why the follow up movie Love or Dead came to teach this couple a lesson.

I've been consuming Japanese media since I was a kid so I'm more than comfortable with their unusual shenanigans haha.

Tanaka Kei really is the highlight of this series for me.
Every once in a while he goes Super Kawaii mode and I completely melt for his sweetness.

I remember that by the end of the series Tae Kyung teased Shin Woo regarding this incident. I dont remember the episode but it did become an internal joke between them.
The series is quite long so it would be easy to miss or forget the scene but I'm pretty sure they talked about it again and it was very funny haha.

He was probably helping the Sex Ed Teacher. Perhaps it's normal in Korea to teach students how to put on a condom though I'm not sure.
To be fair,it's not that shocking since teens probably see much worse stuff on the internet, might as well teach them safety.

Recommending BLs is so hard specially when we're talking about top ranked ones. Each one is so different and unique.
Light on Me is on it's own legendary category, I've never seen anything come close.
All main characters are sweethearts that play fair, they never manipulate or lie, the visuals are refreshing and bright, and the OST is Teen Kpop vibes. The fact that it's one of the longest BLs ever pushes this one to another league.
