I like Hewen and Xiaoyu tgt, but even their relationship wouldn’t work because he doesn’t see her like that. If he ever decided to give her a chance, it would probably end up being a “she likes him more than he likes her” situation, and that’s not how a relationship should work.
The way he ignored her shows exactly where he stands and that he doesn’t feel for Xiaoyu like that. He’s too young to understand who is actually best for him. He’s so blinded by his attraction to Yuer that he’ll keep ignoring her red flags while overlooking Xiaoyu’s green flags.
Even though I don’t like Xilun that much, I actually liked that when he didn’t feel that way about Meng Meng, he didn’t give her false hope. That’ll help Meng Meng move forward without getting hurt even more.
Hewen is “too” considerate to reject Xiaoyu, and I feel like that’s only going to end up hurting Xiaoyu more.
I still hope they pull a ZhuoQing CP from HS6, where she kept making moves and he eventually fell in love with her and now they’re getting married 😭

The cast this season are so genuine and loving. I love their bond so much and even if meng meng didn't find love here she found friends like xing xing and Xiaoyu. I love this trio so muchh

There are currently 4 stable couples that I can see ending up tgt unless big twists happens Kaiyi and Yiheng Yuyang and Renfang Sisi and Yihang XingXing and Bohan
They are all SO. ADORABLE tgt that you won't help but smile the whole time while watching them.
MENG MENG is my fav one and my first impression of her was that she is the cutesttt and kindest person. Butt sadly her journey isn't going that great yet. She's so brave and I loved her and Xilun's date so much but I knew the heart eyes that Meng Meng was showing to Xilun, Xilun was showing to Yue Er while Yue Er likesss Hewen 😭 ughhhh this love square is killing meeeeee
And I regret starting this show while it's airing. Now I have my favourite couplesss and if they don't end up tgt I might cry 😭

Kaiyi & Yiheng (THEY ARE SO DREAMYYY)
Ren Fang & Yu Yang (ughhh just get marry alreadyyyy)
XingXing & Bohan (OMG I love their dynamic and chemistryyy so muchhh. I didn't like Bohan that much at first but nowww he is one of my most fav contestants)
SiSi & Yihang (oh my babiessssss, they are just so shyyyyy and cuteeee)
Hewen & Yue Er (I know they have so much mixed reviews but I would say they like each other so bad but just don't know how to communicate and aren't able to find the right timing. As they also have people who are interested in them, their misunderstandings just keep piling up.
I was shipping Xilun & Yue Er but Yue Er likes Hewen the most and it is clearly seen in the way she talks with him and gets jealous whenever any girl breathes around Hewen lol. I hope they solve their problems and get tgt because I like them tgt too 🥹)

Meng Meng (She deserves everything bestttt in her lifeee okay. Hope there is a new male contestant who can be brave for her and treats her the way she deserves)
Xiaoyu (THE queen she iss. I like her upfront personalityyy and her and Meng Meng's friendship made me cry in ep 4. Hope she keeps fighting for the one she likesss and gets her own happy ending)
Xilun (I think he needs to calm down a little 😭 When Meng Meng gave him the chill plant, I thought that's exactly what he needed. I used to ship Yue Er and Xilun, but now it's just giving two friends talking. I feel bad for him too because he really is trying, but he should also know when to give Yue Er some space. ) One of the things that I most liked is that both twins have the partnerssss and their love lines are going greattt and they can seeee each other falling for their partnerss. It healss my HS6 twin traumaaa (their story was just soo saddd) 😭
