I completely agree with your comment. I haven't finished the series yet; I'm currently on episode 21. I'm starting to grow tired of the main couple because their storyline feels repetitive and progress is painfully slow. I've also found myself skipping large chunks of each episode just to catch glimpses of the second main couple, but to my surprise, there are very few scenes featuring them… honestly, it seems like entire episodes are dedicated to the main couple, which is disappointing. I know they’re the main characters, but at least keep it entertaining (what is the point of showing other potential couples, without diving too much into their relationship/plot??) I was shocked to learn there are 32 episodes… it could’ve ended around 13-16 episodes and still would’ve made sense.

Woah! I didn't expect this show to be this good. The actors were amazing, and the storyline was captivating! It was so unpredictable; I was always on my toes! Also, I didn't expect to get a little emotional during the last few episodes, haha! Was it just me?

I'm wondering about this review, a user since April, a few series and a review only for this series just to lower…
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to share your thoughts. Although your thoughts on this series may differ to mine, it's not uncommon for users to have diverse opinions, and I believe everyone's experience and perspective are all valid - regardless of their history of reviews or when they joined My Drama List. I want to emphasise that my intention isn't to diminish the rating; rather, I'm simply expressing my personal opinion about the show. I've been an avid viewer of Zhao Li Ying's dramas and hold her in high regard, along with the other talented actors in this series. However, in comparison to her other works that resonate more with me, I feel this particular series falls short. I want to clarify that despite my critique, I did watch the series to completion, and enjoyed many aspects of the show. Once again, thank you for sharing your perspective. Have a good day.

Just finished the series! Overall, it's alright, with potential to appeal strongly to some viewers, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me, especially after 20 episodes in. The comedic elements, particularly with Furong and his sister, were a highlight for me. However, I struggled to connect with the main female and male leads, possibly due to the pacing, and the story being a bit drawn out. My emotional investment leaned more towards characters like Mofang and the backstory of the female lead's parents, as well as the development of some minor characters. While it didn't entirely captivate me, I'd still encourage anyone intrigued to give it a chance, as individual experiences with the show may vary.
