That's true I wonder why people like to give their self headaches by making assumptions, this type of drama tend to have either happy or sad ending and the production team decided to make it happy, the drama released scene showing happy ending, but no people just like to drag things unnecessarily they just don't want peace

That is the way it will be for most female centric dramas I have watched Like wise for male centric dramas that I have watched too ,the female lead in those drama also tend to be more initiative and support them a little bit more than male lead does.that does not mean the male lead don't do anything, it just that it's not as much as what the female lead does for them . Examples are : the legend of chushen( the noble aspirant) War Of Faith, Joy of life, Destined, Burning Flame. So I am guessing it all depends on whom the drama is centered on. And most of the time the male centric drama too always have second female lead or another female that is also ready to love and sacrifice for them just as female lead as we see vice versa in the female centric dramas too.
