I guess we should stop comparing pearl girl to brocade Odyssey the drama Genre might look the same but the story lines are different. And they are both unique in their different ways
For me the new poster is beautiful and very good I see nothing wrong with it, it because we are comparing it that's why we could not see the beauty.
If we keep comparing we are just not going to be satisfied with the results. And it can even create fan war as we know pearl girl as a lot of fans more and that is because the leads are traffic actors so that is the way it will be compared to brocade leads actor And that does not mean anything cause people that are interested in it will still watch and enjoy brocade once it's out, if the story and acting is nice the drama will get the recognition it's deserved.
Take The Double for example not much people knew about it. I was among the people following the drama from day one and before it airs it was only sitting at 1000+ watcher on MDL but look how successful it becomes after its airs and it also has low promotions.
So let's not compare so we can enjoy every beautiful details from the drama. And yes I am not after quantity but after quality and my only hope is brocade can maintain that quality.
