everything was okay except yeomhwa getting a redemption arc. this woman literally abused a child from his childhood to his adulthood. exploiting him, driving him to suicide, isolating him from his family and friends and what not. how tf she got redemption for all that is beyond me.

it was NOT a silly romcom exactly it had good plot buildup till this episode where so many characters did out of character shit and that mother let yeomhwa go around doing whatever she wanted even threatening seongahs life, was seong ah not her daughter?? they could have just tied her up or something but no. jiho was never dumb enough to ask SEONGAH for help when he knew she was that evil shaman, his character was empathetic but not dumb. everything was thrown during episode 10 suddenly like this.
