that part, lol. you can only see so much through this show especially since it was tailored to fit a certain narrative. seeing people rn call myeongkyun a red flag right off the jump is actually crazy to me. you don't know these people, you're only watching what the producers want to show.

now let's not downplay age gaps. age gaps are definitely something to think about when choosing a partner. a professional tutor proposedly dating a student? even a normal person would feel off at that dynamic. but whatever, it's their lives. they're the ones who choose to explain how their dynamic works. but again, let's not downplay age gaps.

i don't think he's wrong. he's just saying it like it is. they were flirting, they didn't connect, they ended. it's not like he's supposed to be hung up over him and vice versa lol, if that were the case they shouldn't have come to the show at that point if they still had exes (excess) baggage.

and yeah i don't really agree with the statements of them ending up together again, you can clearly see youngjoon feeling uncomfortable with his presence but who knows maybe something'll happen in the next episodes to come. but i do agree that they should not end up together again.

oh these episodes were messy downnn, i love it. myeongkyun is definitely my fave now even more; he seems more mature to the "let's tell each other we were exes to the other cast" approach with the mindset of telling it only when it's necessary instead of youngjoon who wants to get it out there quickly. like ffs the dude just got here, bro. i disliked his actions here, and even when hanmin walked in, it was like he was alienating him loool.

(and like, personally, i don't really think just being in a flirting phase should be considered as exes. like bro the word "exes" used to have more weight than what i can assume was their fling).

i also found it funny that youngjoon said that he's worked with aespa. my boy is bringing all the drama-ma-ma-ma fr. and with the teaser of episode 5 with his date with hanmin, i can assume their teased confrontation video is very very near.

also, i love seungjin more here, he's standing out for me even more as one of the unique ones not just by field or persona. i really hope he gets a call on the third day.

nah. i love them both down, but i know the director & gmmtv is mostly to blame for the jarring story. i just want them to be chosen for better roles, because the jump from this to the current is just... sad.

lmao i feel the same thing. i've noticed how in his man, the "alternative" vibes kind of men don't always get picked in the end. chankyu and seungjin are similar because of how reserved they are & how different they are in terms of appearances out of all the cast.
