MG is great, I don't know why people hate on him! I would be thoroughly disappointed if they finish as the winning…
at this point ion really care about who ends up with who, especially since a year has passed after wrapping up filming and there's been rumors that myeongkyun and seongmin are dating someone else outside of his man (sorry if i might have spoiled). i've always watched his man for the superficial/lookist view for the sake that i get to see pretty men be pretty, so whoever ends up endgame i rlly wouldn't care.
either way, i'm so excited to see what ikuo and alan bring to the table. and i don't think there's gonna be much…
yeah i completely overlooked the scenes they edited grey to show future "conflicts" for pizzazz. can't wait for usak to finally manage the truck with his own partner, though. even taeheon who also had so little screen time had the opportunity to.
y'all. wow. this started off so good. the way almost everybody was raw and showed so much depth in terms of personality…
either way, i'm so excited to see what ikuo and alan bring to the table. and i don't think there's gonna be much drama at all (even though i would like to see it).
I wasn’t expecting the commentators. This is very unique from previous gay dating shows. Also, they’re showing…
the commentators were a breath of fresh air, tbh. them having small psychoanalyses about the personalities of the contestants was a really good way to discern the complexities of each individual.
y'all. wow. this started off so good. the way almost everybody was raw and showed so much depth in terms of personality was so refreshing. and the way they didn't have to hide their professions/ages and just treated it like it wasn't something that felt off to them was just so... different from other dating shows you could relate it to. i have to say, this may be the first queer dating show i watched and was pleasantly surprised with all of the contestants; all of them were presented so beautifully, it was a great introduction to them. the coffee truck thing was also a good choice, it can be a good form of a date, while also getting to know the interpersonal skills of your potential partner and how they treat people. while this IS a dating show, it doesn't feel like it to me, personally. it seems more of a reality show where we get to see how these 8 (probably 9 by the next episodes) navigate with the other men they're with and form intimate (not specific to romantic) relationships with them, and dating is just something that comes along the way. i like it. i also love the inclusion of the panelists; it gives viewers with a one-track mind a chance to listen to how other people could perceive the character/personalities of the contestants, instead of only seeing them in your own fixed view.
however, i do have a few notes. i hope the next further episodes highlight more of the other contestants tho. episode 2 & 3 sort of felt like "shundai & friends," kinda. not that i'm saying it's a bad thing, but a few contestants (taeheon and usak) barely had screentime. idk if it's because some of them were absent due to personal stuff/work-related reasons, but regardless it would've been nice to get to know more about them WHILE they were in the house/got back from work, yk.
(and since i don't wanna write an insanely long-ass paragraph on the contestants, i have to say that my personal favorites, while i do like everyone respectively, are shun & kazuto. not just because of their facecards, but their personalities and how they seem to carry themselves. i'm rooting for everyone, either way. but i just like them a little more).
Jarring, but that 's good hurt in my book. The waiting makes it twice as good . When you had to wait a whole week…
understandable. i guess the producers want the viewers to be on the edge of their seats when every week comes. i can already feel the clickbaity teasers that they'll show after the last episode for the week lol
some of y'all are so deluded with y'alls' one true pairing bullshit, it cracks me up so bad, lmaooo. what's so wrong with these men wanting to test out their compatability with the other guys even though they already have one promising contender? ffs this is, and i mean this with so much emphasis (italicized and bold), a dating show with real people.
if these men were to only choose who they liked and stayed with them throughout episode 1, i promise every episode that'll follow will be absolutely boring as hell and will leave a lot of people without any matches (ffs, seungjin hasn't even been called once). just formulaic, archaic, and boring. and the way some of y'all also always feel the need to compare this with season 2, just drop the show atp. nbgaf about what y'all gotta say because the producers sure as hell won't since this has already been wrapped up in post-production lmaooo. get a grip and be normal individuals, damn.
they were doing so well but that final episode was just so mediocre, lawrddd. anyway, 7.5/10 i guess. they served enough with their facecards either way.
i have to give props to the producers for all of the secret missions, ngl. seems like they really wanna show us REAL reality television that some of you people tend to brush over. reality tv, particularly dating shows, are supposed to have some type of flavor in them to make them ACTUALLY entertaining. these men knew what they were getting into when they signed up for this show, either way.
I might be the odd man out but I'm rooting for Jaesung's happiness in this show or outside. He's so transparent…
what he talked with seongmin on their secret date really shows that he's (currently) the only one serious about getting a true lifelong partner. love that for him.
