Well, I see the point in calling it special. In fact in my opinion it has all the hallmarks of a great drama: undated lovers, powerful antagonist, decent acting, not a whiny FL, and ML actor who matches his character.
The story, however, fails to pull off the politics. I couldn't help but wonder why they had to fight. It does a poor job of setting up why and in my opinion, they could have not(at least not that match). I get that the characters have to morph throughout the drama but the tough love and attempts to make me feel sorry for the ML fell flat.
I must say the FL imagination was welcomed comedic relief.
There possibly can't be anyone who thinks that -at least the first half of S1- is as interesting as any of the comments suggest. It's devoid of intrigue, charisma, comedic relief or any sort of hook really. Not to mention, the character: there is really nothing to them and none would make you wait for the next episode just to see them. I am simply baffled. Hopefully season 2 is indeed better
Boring. The direction was too much. And I don't see the amazing acting hype, the ml only had two expressions,…
I concur. Besides, one can only watch so many slow motion scenes. It's like the director chose to do away with any natural sounds except conversations and layer the rest with overly dramatic tracks. The drama really overpromises at a glance and massively underdelivers.
