Addictive and Gripping
This drama is seriously addictive. The plot is genuinely gripping, drawing viewers into the investigation and allowing them to piece things together along the way. From episode 5 onward, it gets even more exciting. Gong Jun’s line delivery is especially pleasant to listen to—grounded in real life while effectively shaping his character. His acting feels natural and convincing throughout. All I can say is that this is an exceptionally good drama. Was this review helpful to you?
An Exception Worth Rewatching
At first, Shen Xiezhi comes across as a cold, by-the-book “judgment machine,” but over time, he grows into a judge who can truly understand and connect with others. The voiceovers that accompany each episode capture this transformation with remarkable depth and elegance. His relationship with Qin Rui develops in a bittersweet way that truly touches my heart. I really love this drama! Was this review helpful to you?
The cases in the drama feel real and reflect current issues. The scriptwriter clearly did thorough research, and I even learned a few things while watching.

Blood River: Absolutely Worth Recommending
Each episode closes with a gripping cliffhanger, and the brisk pacing keeps you glued to the screen. The fight scenes are epic, though the CGI can feel a bit excessive at times. Su Muyu’s inner conflict between duty and conscience gives the story genuine emotional depth, while Gong Jun’s original voice performance is a pleasant surprise.I don’t give it a 10-star rating because the sprawling cast can be a bit hard to follow at first and the special effects occasionally feel overdone. However, the overall production is top-notch and cinematic.
