Wan Qian gave a very powerful, emotional performance in 'The Tale of Rose'. I also loved her in 'Lady's Character'. I'm looking forward to her new drams in 2025, and previous films I've yet to watch. Thank you Qian, and all the best to you in 2025!
Agree with those of you commenting below- it's excellent! I'm glued after work every day, keeping up with each new episode, and it is every bit as good or even better than Season 1. The name change is odd and may throw people off, so I hope MDL makes a note somewhere at the top about the name change to "Unbreakable 2" on iQiyi.
So glad to see her out and about, but like others have said, it's best that she take it slow, don't get back into the grind of excessive travel and etc. right away.
In her vlog post, it was so good to see many of her close friends with her, especially Zeng Li at about the :54 - :57 second mark (you can briefly see her beside Rosy). Such a wonderful friend to have, and a beautiful lady inside and out! All the happiest dreams to you going forward Lu Si, take good care of yourself!
She's very talented, expressive, and has the most striking, beautiful eyes. Watching her in 'Everlasting Longing' now, and find it a really well acted and scripted series. The fight scenes, costumes, storyline and Angelababy (who is making a strong performance as well imo) all have me glued to every new episode.
Bing Ke, you're playing the Princess role very well, and I look forward to the rest of the episodes to see how your character grows and changes over time. Will be looking out for your new roles in other shows too!
First saw her in 'Sword, Snow Stride'; then in 'Immortal Samsara', and by then was already an avid fan, because she is so charismatic. 'Blossom' and 'Royal Rumors' were the most recent two I completed, and she won my admiration and heart again with each new performance.
As humble/modest in real life as she is beautiful, I can only hope for all the best to her future in film and her personal life. She truly deserves being the 'Shining Star of the Year' award!
So glad to see you are going to be in the upcoming series "The Glory" with Chen Duling! Anything you star in (main or support roles), count me in... ππ
It was unbelievable to me, how she seemed to be everywhere at once- modeling, singing, acting, and commercial advertising for high-end products. I kept growing more and more concerned just watching her IG feed through the year, which I check daily. She seemed way too busy, getting so little sleep, etc. Rosy, take care of yourself first. Prayers going up for you, take care!
Saw you for the first time in 'In Blossom' and instantly thought you're an amazingly talented young lady. Was sad to see you depart the show so soon, felt like I'd been cheated. π
I look forward to catching up on some of your other work in the weeks ahead. All the best as your star continues to rise higher and higher in the future! π
Just finished Ep. 11 and it's a really great series! Meng Zi Yi is one of my top 5 faves, ever since I first saw her in Sword, Snow Stride. Very strong screen presence in all her work. The ML is excellent, too- they make a perfect match imo. Kudos to the cast and crew!
I'm really into Brocade Odyssey right now- some of my favorites in the series. Especially you, Chen Xiao Yun. You're always so talented, strong and lovely (outer and inner beauty) in all your roles. I'm at episode 22 now, looking forward to the next one!
One to watch for sure- this young lady is going places. First noticed her in 'Who Rules the World,' and thought she did a superb job. I'm watching 'Fangs of Fortune' right now, and was so glad to see her in it, playing a much different character (for her). Greater (main) roles and a rapidly increasing fan base is my humble prediction for this versatile and lovely talent.
I just watched a You Tube celebrity gossip vid out of curiosity, and it said that fans want to see more fresh, new topics and story lines in C-Dramas. Well, this is it, since it's about stand up comedy- something that is still in the infancy stage in China, apparently. I find this series fast moving, and quite enjoyable overall. If a 45 min. episode seems to fly by in ten minutes, it has passed the test for me. Teresa Li is an amazingly versatile actress imo, and the supporting cast in this is quite good.
Just started this series late yesterday evening, so I'm only at Ep 6. But wanted to weigh in and say that Teresa Li is amazingly talented in this, as always. Now I find that she's a natural at standup comedy too, which is delightful to see. A toast to you, Teresa! π₯ π
Congratulations on your award Teresa! I loved you in Sword, Snow, Stride and really hope you are in the sequel. Best to you in all your future projects!
