not sure how to feel about the ending, honestly (and I mean also how the kidnapping was resolved, I'm confused😅) but I'm seeing there will likely be a second season so... yeah, we'll see the rest of the story
That said, I didn't expect to like this much, but it was quite entertaining and I loved their chemistry! Loved the '80s setting too 😁😍
this was such a cute watch, soft, cuddly and delightfully meow-full 🐱💕😊 I'm a goner for cats, so they truly had it easy catching my heart, and I love the two lead cats too🤭😉 they're so precious ☺️🥹
so yeah, a very pleasant series, they had me crying though... Should have expected it 😭😭😭😭
this story is so unique compared to the others from the series,,, I started reading the novel cause the drama synopsis alone made me so curious (and so far they've done a great job transposing it🤩)
I'm quite pleased and excited about their story, even though they're not necessarily my fave couple from Fourever You series, but still... they're cute - a different, disfunctional and ghostly kind of cute, I guess ahahah 😅🥰
technically well done and acted, but it felt... I don't know, boring and too rushed to me
maybe it was "too soon" for a remake, since the original aired only last year, and it was too similar - though I appreciated they changed the ending a bit, the family drama and all, it makes more sense and saves Sara's brother from that witch of a mother,, but yeah
It lacked real emotions and yes, watching the original helps with the plot - that is already kinda messy in the thai ver. -, I guess
I’ve now watched Episodes 7 and 8, and I honestly don’t know what else to say other than that the series remains……
Yes, exactly how I feel Like... the original thai one was kind of a mess too, following the novel that was, per se, quite confusing. But at least the original one managed to better develop the characters and the story giving them more space and sense (compared to the source material😅) Idk... this is technically well shot and the actors are doing good, but it's leaving me with nothing
what's the differences between the novel and it's live action
ready for spoilers??😌😉
the novel is longer, richer and more colorful narration and characters-wise (for obvious media reasons ^^)
the painting part is an addition for the series only, but the initial fight and 'be my slave' deal is still there
In the novel, there's not such a long situationship phase for PhumPeem
the boys are even more hyper and "cunning", lol... I get why they had to tone it down in the series😅
It's mainly PhumPeem focused (with Peem's first person pov) but there are special POVs and chapters about the other couples, the group of friends is always involved and highly present, though
ChainPun are not a thing
Phum's son-father difficult relationship is key in the novel and leads to an angsty/sad phase in PhumPeem's love story
That said, it's really worth it! Some people say that the series is only "inspired" by the novel,,, I can see that, but there were honestly not enough screen time and episodes to fully transpose and develop the story into action, imo
I'm happy with both, all the cast did a great job and, once again, they're comforting and beautiful in their own ways
P.S.: I read SpriteHoang6's translation on Wattpad
I keep rewatching this series from time to time (the first one I ever rewatched) and it's really a jewel!
Fun, uncomplicated, soft, full of love, friendship and good feelings
It's just a feel-good show and will forever be my comfort series
I get people who feel disappointed after reading the novel... I honestly really do and I'm "lucky enough (I guess?)" I watched it before discovering the novel cause they're honestly two different works and experiences, BUT😌☝️at the same time I'm also glad I got to re-experience this story and these characters through the original work, double the love, double the enjoyment
People are too harsh about the series, though I personally loved both the drama and the novel. The novel is richer, more complex and there's angst, but I feel deeply connected to both versions for different reasons and charm
The love, the fun, the chaos and the precious friendship are there, after all.. I think considering the two as independent works may help,,, For me, watching the series and then reading the novel was a chance to re-discover and experience the warm feelings the show left me again, so I'm happy (and re-reading the book too🤭)
these "adaptations" are honestly a copy-paste of the original... don't get why they keep it so same-same (and so soon after the original airing) Like... I get it, they can't change the storyline drastically, but at the very least the 'Love Sea' remake had that japanese feel to it, making it more interesting This and the LITA one are just a summarized scene-by-scene copy.. I'm not really feeling it. Will keep watching cause I like the actors and per se they're doing a good job, but yeah... :/

I miss those longer full-fledged korean BLs!!!😭😭
that said... 😌🖕this was well acted and executed, I guess... a nice watch😊

It deserved so much more visibility and praise
and I need a second season!

Thank you 💕
first, I didn't know His Man was on air again, so happy though 😍🥳
what I understood so far is that they shot the 4th seasons once before but the one we are watching is the reshoot??
Who are the returning participants, like, from previous series (I can't recall😭🥹) and how are/were they connected?
but I guess most of them are "returning" cause they met each other in the first shoot of season 4, that was scraped... right??
Enlighten me, please😅
so glad at least we will get special episodes 🫠😍👏
this was truly a rom-com tryumph, haven't gone an episode without smiling and feel all warm and happy.... JUST PERFECT!!!
