Small update: a person from the GMMTV staff said Girl Rules is set to start shooting at the end of September!! It most likely means that once Milk and Namtan are back from NYC they are having the Read Through of the rest of the episodes, fitting and workshops in the upcoming weeks 🎉

No worries at all!! Keep in mind that this is the only show that they are almost done filming of the shows currently filming/yet to start production so stay positive! Also it’s one of the most waited BLs with 3 big couples so I’m 99% sure they’ll give them a premium slot (Friday/Saturday or Sunday). 12 of October is a very likely possibility 💪🏻

Update: Namtan said she want to spend as much time as she can these days cause her schedule next month is full. So I’m guessing the workshops and Qs are really starting in September! We are suffering a bit more y’all, we are so close (this time for real 😭)
So yesterday Milk said that they are still writing GR and they MIGHT film it this year… I don’t understand because Mim and Namtan said they have the Qs on their schedule already and Film said workshop is starting this month.. which one is the truth y’all? 😭
I’ve watched more than 10 GLs now and this is my 2nd favorite, a solid 9/10, (TLP is a 9.5/10 but that’s just obviously my opinion). But I have to agree with the most recents comments here. It seems like we cannot have a proper ending for Thai GLs (TLP is an exception for me). May’s father sudden change of heart is totally unrealistic and it doesn’t fit with the entire storyline they created around his character. Ignorant people unfortunately exist and they stay ignorant for life, no point to give them a redemption arc cause it’s not how in real life works. The fact that we didn’t have a PROPOSAL nor a proper WEDDING with all of their friends, I mean… AioonMay romance without lies and family’s conflict only lasted 2 parts and most of it was NamtanFilm advertising for Mama Oke (which I adore, but no) and May’s father being nice and awkward.. It’s very sad cause the entire GL was a slow pace but very well executed story of two people falling in love and genuinely uplifting each other against family conflicts, society and friendships. I really hope they put more effort in the future GLs (and BLs/larkorns in general) because this is becoming very tiring. Please take notes from The Loyal Pin, thank you. That said, Film and Namtan were absolutely outstanding, they really gave their best performances WOW. So far they are my favourite pair in terms of acting, they really set the standards very very high. My only tiny complaint (but I’m still okay with that) is that they should be less shy when they kiss, I’ve seen so much worse but much more realistic kisses too (I’m not talking about tongues being involved or anything, for instance EmiBonnies’s kiss in US pilot trailer was a soft, gentle and realistic kiss, so that’s what I’m talking about )
