I just finished watching Reborn which was incredible! I was impressed with Jingyi's acting, her emotional scenes were moving & brought me to tears. I love seeing Jingyi in these types of roles, she truly shines in them ❤️.

I think she had the most screen time in episode 31. Due to what's going on with the plot based on today's episodes, it's likely that she'll have more screen time from here until the end. Anyway, I am enjoying the show overall as well.

I did read a comment wondering how she'd hold up against seasoned vets, although it's understandable it's also an unfair comparison given the differences in age & experience lol. I think she's really doing well, she seems pretty natural. This is Jingyi's first time playing a badass character so it's refreshing & exciting to see having watched her other dramas. I've been really enjoying her scenes, especially in the episodes I finished today (13 & 14, which were amazing episodes btw). She's getting more screen time & we're gradually seeing how important her character is to the plot as time goes on. People are liking her character more with the recent episodes since we get to see more of her backstory, her intentions, & her fun side, as well as her amazing chemistry with Zang Hai. I read that a lot of viewers are excited about the ML & FL on Chinese social media, creating videos about them & calling them by a funny ship name.
Don't mind what people think. Almost all young actors/actresses get criticized by some people as everyone has their own preferences, it's not really a big deal. Our faves can't be liked by everyone & that's okay. There are a lot of people who like her & her acting anyway. We can't control other people's opinions so try not to think about the negative ones too much. It's better to focus on what you can control, so if you think she's great then that's all that really matters at the end of the day 🙂.

I understand your concern but movie stars are generally more popular among the general public in China, & they're a lot more respected in the industry. Films can help her gain critical acclaim & popularity domestically, so it’s good to have a combination of dramas & films. I’m sure her movie will do very well & will be well-received there, it will do good for her career. After she wraps up the film, I think she’ll take on another drama this fall/winter which could air by the end of next year, no need to worry :).
I personally like that her team is selective & thoughtful with the kind of work she takes on. Acting careers are more like a long journey instead of a race. Those who take on too much will burnout & audiences can get tired of them. I think her team mentioned that this year she would have a better work-life balance, maybe implying that she was a bit worn out last year, not only with her acting projects, but probably also with brand activities, magazine shoots, media events, etc. It’s good that her team is prioritizing her mental health more & thinking of her career in the long-term.
