well, I do not know that much since I am not interested in it but usually their lives, mostly work related news are covered by media. It means if one watches news, then they will know what athlete is entering or leaving. I can give you an example, there is one respected athlete in my country, and he is also from my region, and I remember in my childhood, my parents encouraged me to watch the Olympics for the athletes cause he got gold and made us proud. Since then the whole country started to follow the athlete, and even he was sabotaged and accused of "using" doping, they protected the athlete. Cause he was that good.

as a viewer, i don't think this is gl. it is up to the viewer how to interpret the show but i didn't see any of that. but this is women-centric drama and about women theatre, that's why there will be no men. the show focuses not only on the growth of jeongnyeon (character of kim taeri) but also the whole team, so that was enjoyable. and their frienship , riavlry was also healthy and beautiful, must recommended to watch
