nah you wrong for this. glad you enjoy the show but do you really have to bring actors appearance into it? They are a beautiful, amazing, and talented and should not be criticized because they don’t fit your perfect image. cdramas and kdramas have always been guilty of only casting the prettiest people they can find and many top actors are famous because of there perfect looks. There are so so many amazing talent actors who have 0 chances when it comes to being against someone like Xu Kai. The producers always go for who is the prettiest and most attractive verse someone who has actual talent. Don’t get me wrong there are a lot of top actors we are great like Xu Kai, he is handsome and that boy knows how to ACT😤. besides the point but what I am trying to say is dramas should not be criticized simple just because of an actors look. That truly is the reason some actors never get the recognition they deserve just because they aren’t stereotypical ’pretty’. I am not trying to be mean or aggressive here this is just my opinion.

y’all okay I am on episode 10 right now and let me just say to everyone starting or thinking about starting this. YOU NEED TO LET THIS MF COOK, let that sht marinate over night in the fridge💀. I am on episode 10 and holy mf sht is it getting GOOD😤. once you start learning about the back story of everything it gets soooo good! I am literally obsessed with this drama so far🥹. Full review when I finish it, I have so much to say😎

okay y’all so my first time watching I really enjoyed it and rated it a 9. But I find myself always going back to this drama😤it’s so good I have rewatched 4 times. It truly is a great drama to break up some of the intense dramas I’ve been watching. It is so so enjoyable and literally perfect that I ended up bumping my rating to a 10! It’s simple and cute but also has a great story line that keeps you engaged. The romance is so pure and sweet.🥰I usually find secondary couples annoying because I just want more scenes for the main leads. However this drama excuted the side couples perfectly by giving cute scenes that don’t last too long or take away from the story. I truly love every single character and didn’t find anyone annoying or unreasonable which is rare for me, imma hater ong.😂 Also the chemistry between the leads is top tier😤 even during the awkward getting to know each other phase they were still so cute. I usually get annoyed when dramas with hold the first kiss for so long but it was honestly funny how they did it here. My mans was trying so hard to kiss sheng sheng but kept getting interrupted💀. First kiss was cute but holy sht that second kiss was everything, he was HUNGRY. lmao if you haven’t watched just do it. I usually don’t really enjoy slice of life dramas but this is probably one of my favorites!

okay y’all about half way through on my rewatch and I have a lot to say😂So I have realized another thing I love so much about this drama. It has the perfect balance when it comes to the development of their relationship but also the story itself while also blending so seamlessly together. Most dramas struggle with that balance of giving us cute scenes of the main leads but also still giving us story elements to keep us interested. ShenLi executes this flawlessly by giving us interesting story scenes but also having the cutest and sweetest moments of the leads in between. It makes every single episode so goddam good😤. Another thing is I didn’t realize how mf flirty they are with each other, like they never stop💀there so fucking obvious it hurts. One of my favorite moments so far is in episode 5 when ShenLi and Mufang where talking and Shen Li said she has feelings for someone. Then Mofang looks at Xing Zhi and says that trash😂 * que Xing Zhi messing around with Shen Li’s spear like a kid* que Shen Li looking fondly and smiling at Xing Zhi💀that part had me dead. That was all for now lol

right!!! this needs to be the blue print for drama endings. I am so f’n tired of 5 min or even just open ended endings. It truly can ruin a drama for me😤 I just finished TTEOTM and my rating went down a bit because of the ending😭

it literally just gets better and better as it goes. All the arcs connect in a satisfying way that doesn’t leave you with boring fillers. It’s truly a masterpiece 😤
