They gave us a good kiss in the first episode. which, honestly, lots of us wants to see. And then, comes the 2nd episode. I think it’s more intimate because you can feel them at ease. Even the word Kareshi does not embarrass Hioki anymore. I also love that they took the lines from book 2 sleepover arc by heart. It was satisfying to know that they talked and clarify things on their end. Let’s claim a Season 2 for this already!!
Watched the highlights of the Junon Superboy Contest and even then, you can see hid star quality. He is eloquent and answers questions maturely for his age. It shows wisdom and wit.
His first main role for School Trip is such a treat. glad he was given the break he deserves. Looking forward to seeing more from him and expecting him to skyrocket from here on out.
Since Hioki is not rejecting Watarai’s attack in the first episode, he might be adjusting now and ready to advance a bit. Maybe he’ll return the favor on the 2nd part. 😁

Hello. About the reaction of Hioki whenever Watarai says boyfriend. He is actually not surprised but just getting shy He does not use the word Kareshi (boyfriend) but as Koibito (Lover) and I think he is still getting used to that. If you listen intently to what he says when he describe their relationship, that’s what he always says.
Some of the subtitles used Boyfriend for Koibito instead for Lover. That’s why it was a bit confusing.
I think they showed just a small portion of volume 2 book for the after story so that there will be enough material in case they proceed with having a second season; hence the shorter episode. Looking forward to it already!!!The first episode for the After Story is more mature that the series but it shows that their relationship already advanced. Watarai was craaaazy 🙈

He was live in IG yesterday and Kodai said he was not surprised about the adlib. He even said it made sense because it might be weird to stop at the 2nd kiss since it was a bit more intense. then he said his reaction after it was a very Hioki reaction on not being able to match Watarai at all. ☺️
Episode 10 was short but satisfying. All previous episodes building up to them being together is worth it and properly shown in the last episode.
