Fucking garbage, but I'm pushing though to get to season 3. Good god. Practical effects still top tier as usual. These guys should get hired for anything they choose.
Edit: and THANK FUCK, I don't have to hear Imagine Dragons again.
8 ~40 min episodes are way too short, felt like 10-12 would have been the sweet spot. Would have helped flesh out Thicha's life, her and Phatchai's relationship and even Bussara's past.
The show seemed to have the budget - Baifern and Peach; filming in the UK; renting that big-ass house; but fuck me, was the CGI bad. And that Mulan-esque scene on the bridge in the last episode with the music kicking in, corny as fuck. The pink blood at the start of the show also lowered my expectations early, but the cast's performance and suspense made me want to keep watching.
The epilogue about real life aliens made sense of the show's tone and its hollow ending. With the amount of dialogue and relatively short duration, the last 2-3 episodes felt rushed. I was left disappointed and wanting more. Can't give this show more than a 7.5/10.
How is this junk a must watch for newbies? Damn you want people to waste 16 hours of their time just because you…
Literally within the first 15 minutes I was thinking this is a rip-off of Goblin, and I saw that show years ago. I came straight on here and found out it's because they had the same cinematographer.
i've no idea why others were so confused watching this. IT IS SO EASY TO UNDERSTAND. are y'all dumb or what? the…
It definitely is confusing as fuck with a flashback every 10-15 minutes or so in the first few episodes. It is definitely not a series one can leave on in the background and expect to enjoy. I'm only on episode 7 but I felt inclined to log in and leave you with a "fuck off".
Loved the use of practical effects, being a huge advocate for it in horror movies. Nothing much else to say about this series, wasn't really scary. I remember liking School Tales more, have to watch that again.
Being a gen 2 fan, was nice to see Junho and Yoona again. They had great chemistry. But hell, Junho can't play the stoic, emotionless guy we saw in the first couple episodes. Not to mention his face was so caked up I was constantly wondering if he went under the knife. The show got better as it went on, to give it credit. The more emotion Junho showed, the more I enjoyed the show. Would I rewatch it? No, but the cast was great and the acting was great.
They had episodes 1 hour long and they decided the finale should be 30 mins. No fucking clue what was in their heads writing and editing this show.
I'm giving this a 1 star on MDL just so I can pull the rating down. I've taken shits that are more worthy of 8 stars than this crap.

Goblin trumps this by far.
