I've been considering starting "Lost You Forever" but the reverse harem aspect made me hesitant. I feel more confident checking it out after your comment here. My rec is "Blossoms in Adversity"!
This is so entertaining! So cringed when Lada tried to get a rise out of Nam but the moment passed soon enough. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.
This one really knows how to compress a standard drama into a web series. It's great. I was all for the second male lead at first or rather both seemed fine but the emperor has really grown on me. Normally I don't like female leads to get back with the person who has wronged them but his offenses are so minimal. It's really logical what a tough and political place the harem became for them. Meanwhile it's on sight now with her brother.
Saw some comments saying Li HuaiAn was very selfish for reacting the way he did. Can you all be for real? His…
Thank you! I'm really glad she is facing the consequences of making decisions for others by literally knocking them out. Li doesn't have as much reason to go soft on her as the marquis or the princess. It's great that she has the fighting ability of a general but the knowledge of the military at this level she does not. In fact, she barely knows the military on the level of a foot soldiers.
Still hiding his Marquis identity seems strange now alas it's also the only way he can take her punishment, and she truly needs to be punished for endangering 1000+ people. Changyu also learns her lessons more when they affect others instead of herself, so him bearing the brunt of the punishment will be a reality check for what it means to be in the army. That wouldn't be possible if it's overshadowed by an identity reveal.
I'm so glad the drama is letting Changyu and the Marquis take their own paths for a few episodes. That's really missing in most dramas these days. I'm glad the leads of Pursuit of Jade aren't foolishly dependent on each other by being attached at the hip.
I really enjoyed all the moments Goo Hae Ryung had with the historians and other side-characters when I first watched it a few years ago. The romance didn't convince me, though. Maybe it's time for a rewatch to see if my taste has changed.
Long accidental rant, if you are fully enjoying this show, please do yourself and your mental health and further…
"Why do they keep writing these simp MLs and cold and distant FLs that only care about their own goals?"
If only Zhao had a goal. Cause what does she even want? Allegedly, go back to the valley, but she's doing a horrible job. I think rather than cold and distant, she's just fickle and that gets exhausting because there's just no growth over 30 episodes.
ive been watching pursuit of jade and coroner's diary so everything is getting jumbled up in terms of names...the…
The man in black is pulling the strings of the demonic sect but his plan seems to be to bring chaos to to the sect world as a whole. Yes, he is the one who slaughtered the Chang sect.
The skin-painted demon was involved with Pingshu. Zhao's Master is definitely lying to her about how dangerous the "demon" was due to his own jealousy and prejudice. A lot about him will be revealed in the other episodes but the full truth might never be known. Except if there is a connection to the man in black? Just musing here based on up to episode 31.
