I don't see much love in general between them. But if you see your bf hugging your ex, would you still fight for…
I think the Koreans changed style from a decade ago though! I see that now they're too way more conservative. You don't see stories with kids out of wedlock either, let alone where 4 friends suspect it's their kid :) Now I really hope there is a satisfactory ending. In this story I feel like the Main Leads were Xu Yan and Jia Lin cause probably it's the one that kept closer to the Korean version. Xiao Xiao and Ye Han here were left with annoying bits and pieces since he doesn't have an teenage kid, she doesn't teach his kid and he is not running after other women like in the Korean. So though I'm happy they left out these bits - I think they should have given them a better script.

Now I'm only sad we're left hanging with the last 2 episodes and they will have 5 minutes to make up given that we will have a wedding, a pregnancy and a wedding proposal!
I don't see much love in general between them. But if you see your bf hugging your ex, would you still fight for…
Tomorrow hopefully they get out all the episodes at once.
You're right about the flowers and about toxic women! And he just ran away as soon as the ex phoned. So he doesn't mind now that he broke up with the girl he went out with for months and says he love. Attitude wise he seems to be more attached to his ex and he should have assessed himself before promising endless love to Xiao Xiao.
And Xiao Xiao now has the right attitude and arguments especially when she compares herself to the flowers. She nailed it.

I missed that part from the Korean cause I just read all synopsis of the episodes. Thank you for the details though now not sure I want to watch the Korean :) Now I hope that they're not turning the kid as his son in the last few episodes.
Help me understand something. So far into the drama, how long has it been, or how many episodes have the leads…
As I calculated because of the competitions, they have been together for months now not counting the time when they were flirting on New Year. Now last time they mentioned the May edition of the magazine.

Unfortunately it's going even worse. He throws flowers in the trash in front of LXX as soon as the ex calls for her son. Then she proposes and he seemed to waver a little cause the ring is still at his house and FL finds it. So I'm sorry at this point I'm really sorry LXX didn't have the chance to continue her conversation with the cute programmer.
And he's selfish to let his ex come over and over again. Whatever her reason was, even if she had a child, one should respect his ex's new status. And if doesn't protect you with your ex, then he doesn't care enough or men are symply idiots.
Xu Yan - no words can describe him. Another selfish guy that goes for her only when she's leaving.

That there is a problem with the script, I have no doubts. They say FL is an independent woman but even his ex was independent but then you show them behaving like kids in certain instances.
We don't really agree with each other. Though in the show I like the ML and not really like the FL - I still think that he didn't clear the boundaries because he didn't sit with her and clear them. Running away is not a solution here. For example did they clear out the kid is not his - even his friends had doubts. In the Korean version, in fact, it's his child. So again here the script is failing and probably even the actors were confused on how to convey their emotions.
As regards the hug I might agree but at the same time I know that if someone you loved hugged you - then you would still feel something. Again his problem is not meeting in a place and hug a proper goodbye there with his gf knowing what was happening.
Though I accept your opinion, I still cannot understand why the FL wanted to break up. Sometimes you love a person but you still think there's no future together. And most people who break up still have feelings for each other but there lives didn't converge together or they weren't able. In this case it's her insecurities, not having anyone stable in her life and living with a top model all the time with the result that even her grandma said that if she were a man she would choose Yiwen. The ML in this case, is saying that he loves the FL continuously - but saying it too much might also mean he's convincing himself. They're still at the start of the relationship and I don't think you can call that love.
The only positive thing is that they seem to have fun with each other (again here the Korean version probably did a much better job) . Hu Yitian was very funny in some of his drama but here I'm not seeing particular chemistry with the FL even when they're joking. The actress seems like constrained and innatural in her acting, while he's a bit better but doesn't have the usual chemistry with the FL. If I compare the chemistry with the lead of his last historical drama I think there's a huge difference.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward for today's episode and will follow your advice checking the hug in the episode cause the preview might have tricked me.

Sure he didn't do anything but that's also wrong. If someone hugs me for long and I don't want I say No. And she didn't leave only for that but perhaps that was the cherry on the cake. If she wanted just a normal relationship she has to right to find a man who is not always around nice women chasing him. Dating also means testing the waters. So again it's her choice. His fault is not sitting down with his ex talking about their past and clearing their positions but then still going to help her kid and lets her help him with the photos. Would you go to help the kid of your ex you've never seen? Why is he the last one to leave her home?
So in this case I'm certainly with the FL though it's not directly MLs fault. Unfortunately our past also affects our future relationships. It's not easy to be friends with your exes and share all the kids and live all happily.
Don’t forget how she was upset and needed space after finding out he was in a serious relationship 6 YEARS AGO,…
Needing space is normal. If you watch Turkish dramas the couples stay together for like 1 second and it's all drama but we still get glued to them. But here the main problem is that things don't work out well together even though there were enough moments together. The only couple that works well chemistry wise is Jia Lin and the lawyer.
Yeah me too. I just removed from my watchlist. Not interested in watching anymore.
Despite all the cons, I still think that the thematic is nice and unique for once. I usually love Hu Yitian, but someone there are no sparks between him and the FL. It has also something to do with the script where she ends up jumping from the window not to be caught by her friend with her boyfriend. I think in this case rather than going strictly with the script they should focus more on making the couple's chemistry.
it was definitely the day she helped people at work and played with the child
Yes even when there was an accident and he and her brother thought something happened to her. In fact there were immediately some comments here that he will fall for her.
Didn't watch today but saw previews of tomorrow and FL has no trust or caring in ML's plight whatsoever. She doesn't…
I don't see much love in general between them. But if you see your bf hugging your ex, would you still fight for him? If he does this in their honeymoon period what would happen after years of marriage? Better break up now and cut all damages.
Right now I already guessed all the tropes including the last one with the surprise from Ye Han's ex! Now if I guess the next one as well I would have to give a low vote. Cliches are fine but too many predictable ones gets boring.

The nicest guy is Jiaceng.
