Let me tell you, this is a MEGA production. Everything is top tier so far. All great actors, you'll recognize A LOT of faces from the Korean industry but not only.
Since the US and other countries are involved in the plot, you see a lot of very known US actors. And that's why i can tell for sure that this is a mega production. So far you can see that they put a lot of money in this, and it shows. Everything up to the 3rd episode is impeccable.
The acting on every actors have been ON POINT.
If this shows continue to have this quality throughout it's run ,this will be a very good series.
I highly recommand you to give it a try, it's worth. Even if you're not into that kind of show.
I went into this blind, not knowing this was a remake, not knowing the actors, even though I recongnized some faces, the main cast.
I saw all the comments about the FL and her bad acting. Her's my 2 cent about it.
To me, the acting is fine, she's doing a decent job, haven't seen enough to really form a proper opinion but it's fine so far. Now, i'd not call her acting suble, but i'm pretty sure that's what they went for. Acting that dramatic will give her more weight when her character is gonna drop the "act" and be more cold and serious. Which i think is a fine approach.
Now, this is not related but I found something weird, when the CEO they were targetting (me and KR names, sorry) was doing the investigation on gu-ho's character, which was being the son of the airline company, how could they not find a picture of their face. Instead they relied on a tattoo to identify them?? I find this very sloppy. It kinda threw me off. Sure at the end of episode 2 it was revealed that the man that was doing the surveillance and taking photos for the CEO was an inside man from the get go but, I still didn't buy it.
Anyways, I think that if you don't take this show too seriously, which I think is what they want to, I don't think this is a full serious show, it should be enjoyable enough.
I've watched all the episodes that are available up to this day, so, 7episodes. I've also read quite a few comments in here and something I see being talked about is the relationship between the ML and FL. And how the ML can be clingy or the FL too indifferent or stuck up for "no reasons" I kinda felt like that at first but then I thought about it and I think that it makes as to why they're both acting that way.
I've been enjoying this drama so far, i've seen people talking about the second couple and liking their relationship and I agree too, they're pretty cute, can't wait to see more.
If you're reading this and don't know whether you should start this drama or not, i'll tell you to give it a shot and watch the 2 first episodes at least. It has very cute moments, and when I watch this kind of drama, this is what I want to see.
