first, sociopath is a popculture term, in psychiatry we are either talking about psychopath factor 1 or factor…
thank you for your answer . ASPD is an umbrella term which doesn't only apply to psychopath factor 2 (I'll still refer to it as sociopath to differentiate better) but also to psychopath factor 1.
Seok does qualify for sociopathy. As you said, sociopaths are incapable of holding a job because of their antisocial behavior, which includes bad temper, lack of compassion and understanding as well as loss of control. However, this doesn't mean that a sociopath cannot be a genius or simply talented. Seok is described as someone that is different and hard to deal with whereas a high functioning sociopath is able to adapt to his surroundings and not to stand out. Seok likes to do whatever the fuck she wants in front of others because of bad temper and loss of control whereas psychopaths would not allow themselves to get out of control because they simply do not feel strong emotions. they are chill, sociopaths are not.
To support this argument: Seok was thrown out of the OR and prohibited to operate in the future because of her antisocial behavior. This shows that the only reason she was accepted was because of her talent. If she didn't have any talent und behaved like this, no one would've given her a job. Also, she literally wanted to strangle the doctor in front of everyone to death. Trust me, she would have ended up in jail much earlier if she wasn't a genius.
the only comment I posted before was about how I'm rooting more for yuri cuz I cannot accept keifers behavior towards jayjay like she's some dog. you have to chill
well, the character development has to make sense right? what you say is character development is some wattpad bullsxhit that romanticizes toxic behavior. also, get a reality check. I guess you one of the "omg but I can help him to be a better person, no matter how much of a bastard he is" girls
I love character development, trust me. but it has to make sense dude
what will happen further doesn't justify keifers asshole behavior in the beginning. he is a red flag and red flags turning into absolutely pure green flags is unrealistic. if yuri also turns into an asshole, I'll accept it, don't worry.
