and how come Taeko is alive at the end? Thought she got severed injuries.
She got a rock thrown at her, two superficial cuts on the legs and a severed hand, she should've definitely lost the hand but I don't think they were really mortal wounds, specially because the snow would frost up the wound and help it stop bleeding.
I don't know if you've already seen it, but here's the spoiler: You start the movie thinking Aiba and Nozaki are so cute together and they are the only normal and sane people in the movie, but turns out Aiba is a psycho who enjoys hitting other people and even killed his own father and beat up his mother and grandmother. He becomes obsessive over the protagonist, Nozaki, because he thinks she's choosing her family over him (that would be the sane option anyway, but she doesn't even "choose"? hes just crazy) and tries to kill her """because she doesn't trust his promise to protect her and wants to leave him""", after she finds out he made photos of the tragedy that stuck her family because he thought it was beautiful (which makes her upset, obviously). After struggling she ends up killing him with a shot through his camera lens which pierces him in the eye.
Weird movie but I reccommend it.
