I respect your opinion on this but as someone who is really not fan of Chinese historical dramas this drama had me hooked from 1st to last episode yeah I agree the story is nothing extraordinary but the execution and chemistry of this drama make this drama one of the best Chinese dramas for me and that is the same case for most of the people who rated it sometimes even the simplest story becomes extraordinary if the execution is done well and sometimes even the brilliant scripts becomes boring if the execution is lacking

Lol whoever chose the color grading for the poster needs to be fired what is this weird combo the really first one with only park bogum on it was giving serious vibes but this one is giving unhinged vibes

Nah I think this role was made for song zuer no one can do the role of qiao man better than she did

Song zu er looks really beautiful here the styling and makeup over here really enhances her sharp features really well

This drama is so good right now the fact I'm not into Chinese dramas specially historical but this drama is so good it got me hooked specially the fl I love how she stands up for herself Infront of the ml strong fl leads are always a treat to watch

I found a river runs through it is really frustrating the fl was so confused that the ml felt like 2nd lead for the whole drama except the end if you want school or university based dramas I will give you recommendations

2) lighter and princess
3) shining for one thing
4) heart of genius
5) back to seventeen (same fl as when I fly towards you)
6) suddenly this summer
7) don't disturb my study

There are so many good webtoons out there but they still choose the adapt the most lamest ones I wonder why

You don't expect them both to end up with the same guy do you because one ending with ml and one ending with sml is the best case scenario

Never will I understand why do they keep making remakes of this story the ending itself is just straight up depressing for me but then again that is how many time reality is but still there are other films and dramas out there that can have a remake the story was average at best and this remake was the weakest so far specially in the acting department

Lol everyone has different choice and opinion you don't necessarily have to agree with it most of the people here are watching this drama because they want to watch something light and fluffy that's it and for me this drama is good because it is offering everything that it promised of so sometimes you don't want a masterpiece just a unserious drama for a good laugh after stressful dramas or to relieve stress
