Ngl netflix did market it as a spin off of HP so comparison is expected netflix did try to ride the popularity of HP you agree or not this drama wouldn't get this much criticism if they had promoted it as standalone because of that people think that it will be similar as HP but in hp all of them were experienced doctors but here all of them are new residents and maybe their friendship and romance was more of focus there than here

I can't believe I have been ignoring this drama for so long such a nostalgia feel from this also I love how even after becoming a designer soramame fashion sense remained the same I hate when a jolly character changes their dressing sense and become sad in the name of becoming mature I loved how she didn't abandon her unique dressing sense and personality which is a plus point for this drama also I loved the ml as he was so cool and calm and of course a walking green flag but I hated the 2nd fl she was annoying but less annoying as compared to other 2nd fl's in other dramas she was bearable overall this drama is definitely a must watch such warm vibes from it like a hug

I think they added childhood trope in this one because they had so many genres to cover and had only 12 eps they added the childhood plot to speed up the romance because they couldn't have built up the romance considering the amount of genres and eps were given

Well personally idk maybe this one has actual story that people related to when it was released or maybe qot was the recent one and was a more big hit not only on netflix but also on tv it also got the highest rating while this one didn't have much high ratings honestly qot was overrated basically it was highly rated solely on the basis of cast and now ksh got into scandal so a lot of fans who gave high ratings solely on the basis of cast to take it back but here the story was solid so there is difference and it is not highly rated just because of cast it had a distinctive story too and it was mainly carried by fl and the ml brother I personally didn't even see the ml onscreen he was overshadowed by the fl
