I still don't know if yeomhwa is a bad character(I strongly think she is) but the placement of lighting in the dance sequence is so intentional. Seong a had dim orange(warm) and yeomhwa had blue(cold) maybe portraying their personality and effect on the ML?

I'm sad to say this but this drama is more realistic than fictional. There are more happy go lucky dramas but if you want depth then you have to go with realistic ones. Life is quite depressive too and we don't have grand love stories. But we do have little moments in life and that was portrayed well in the drama with the family.

The symbolism between the injured bird and beiyu/qingyu made me cry. The injured bird only flying when the time is right, just like beiyu who ended her life and qingyu potentially getting free from this generational abuse cycle. How beautifully this drama is directed😭

Ngl I was kind of the suprised they were brave enough to show flawed Asian parents. The whole point of Asian society is that parents/elders want the best for you and they are always right. To show that this might not be the case is very brave . I hate the usual psycho parent trope in dramas because they're not realistic. But this one hit too close to home. The mother IS caring, but is thinking through her trauma making wrong decisions. She's trying to protect her daughter in her own twisted crazy ways. That's why it's so hard to leave toxic families, they push and pull, confusing you with affection and false sense of control.

ep 13 had to skip the scenes after she was caught, it was so infuriating I need to touch some grass and remember that this is fiction😭

ep 13 and 14 is gonna be tough😭 Literally everything is gonna go wrong. The kneeling scene, I might die from rage

I love how perfectly the relationships portray Asian culture to a T. Even the small ones, like the grandma only catering to the grandson and ignoring the granddaughter as her only fate is to get married, the father caring for his side of the family when HIS family is in shambles, qingyu and jinyu dynamic, (don't get me started on the mother being hyper conservative) everything is ASIAN to a T.

I don't know if the subtitles are mistranslated, but if she had aids then the whole point of finding her ex boyfriend is strange, I think there's more to her diagnosis and that's why the mother is so tight-lipped.

did baiyu really die from aids? Why sheng was saying to his father that the girl that died last year had something to do with his father( or the hospital)? And why did he know about baiyu's reason behind death? also I don't understand about why her family sued the hospital for negligence? is there something more?

I've only watched 5 episodes but one thing I'm wondering is that why some scenes have a little blurry effect? is this only a cinematography choice? or this gets explained later? There's this dreamy/ blurry effect on the corners specially with the FL and parents scene. I'm just wondering why?

I was hitting my head every time the men fumbled with the real paiksaon. Like his father had professional arm men, park do jae was strong even adopted paiksaon was also very strong but they couldn't catch him or ever harm him really. But what I LOVED is that everytime Haejoo was the only one who really got him. From the first car abduction to the last one she really was the one calling the shots. Even the crazy lunatic called her crazy btch 🤣

But also wasn't park do jae the one who gave the address? which was strange because the one calling haejoo we saw where he lived.

I don't know but I have this crazy theory that sang U is behind all of it. The fact that him doing this case after literally years means he's up for revenge because it's shedding light on bark saeon's past aka orphanage but he knows that baek family would never admit changing their son. So him telling the story of the real monster baek saeon might be his own memory? Or maybe because I don't like him and he gives me eerie vibes I'm suspecting him too much🫣 On park do jae I don't think he has a connection because let's be honest villain ain't gonna be this handsome guy. He didn't give me those vibes and I might be completely wrong:(

Also the twins they are talking about how are they related to the real baek saeon? Didn't they used to play with him?
