you are not the only one! but honestly if he continues with these take your shirt off and pose as a bad guy roles…
I went back to check a link posted on the drama page w/ subs, and it looks like it got deleted :(. It's been posted twice already but it's been copyright claimed both times. I'll probably be posted again sometime later
I watched a BTS from Rainkissed Fate where he said he hasn’t seen a script that he likes enough to do regular.…
His face is part of the reason why I gravitated towards him. I prefer those who actually look like the majority but are still good looking. He would definitely do better in the Kdrama sphere as they're nowhere near as strict as Chinese idol dramas and there's a better variety of looks (imo). And his type of acting reminds me more of a kdrama actor than Chinese. Also, I like his build. I don't mind skinny, but alot of these chinese actors tend to be stick thin which is a personal turn off for me. It's the opposite in Korean dramas which have gotten a bit better in recent years.

No problem. I'm kind of surprised this drama went under the radar. It's the last drama he filmed. This is a completely different performance for DGZ. It's probably because of the lack of subs. Rain kissed fate was pretty old too but it was filmed a few months after Sadistic Love. I like to keep track of when things are filmed so I can see the actors true progress.

I like DGZ but he has a face that’s more representative of the general population in terms of phenotype. And like Ayume said, the scripts are probably not that good anyways because nepotism and how he looks. I wish some of these chinese actors were in the korean entertainment industry as their standards are more loose and expressive.
I agree. I watched a bit and this drama is batshit insane. Everyone is a jackass and there's no normal character…
Thanks I’ll check it out! 😄 This drama is actually very entertaining like 10/10 addicting, it’s just that some scenes in the beginning made my stomach turn. Though I really liked 6, 7, 8. the first few episodes had a too many WTF moments. Another consequence of me binging too many shows in one go.

Tbf this drama is old. It was filmed over a year ago. Up in the Air is his real recent 2025 drama. No kissing scenes or take off shirt flaunting. Most of these are just late releases. I wouldn’t worry in the future, he said he’s tired of it as well xD And it was also a successful mini drama in China thankfully.
This man has one of the funniest official actor Douyin accounts ever. Dai Gao Zheng is a goofy person in rl, so it extends to his fans in the comment section. The amount of corny and odd screenshots with his responses always get a good laugh out of me 😂
Every time I come here, I wish the title was different and changed😅.Starting today; hopefully sadistic isn't…
I agree. I watched a bit and this drama is batshit insane. Everyone is a jackass and there's no normal character to compensate for all the craziness. I needed to watch something lighthearted because my emotions were too high.
He is AMAZING!!! Honestly I personally love him better than DGZ because his scripts "tend" to have more story…
Same I’ve been waiting anxiously for it. I think Yan Zi Xian is staring in a similar drama with the same female lead! I saw it on Douyin. So I’m excited about that one. It’s called Hei Ye Zhong De Ta.

oh I’ve seen Embrace the Dark Knight! I watched it after a kdrama slump, and boy was it dumb 😂 but I loved it as it was refreshing from kdrama romance. gave it a 10/10 for pure enjoyment.

I dropped so many short dramas. I’m currently watching Korean shows again to switch it up. imo, watching things back to back can disrupt enjoyment of anything similar. for me, I switch to korean when I get bored of chinese and vice versa, or I’ll watch anime when I’m sick of both. or just take a break so that dopamine rush goes down so you can reset. maybe try a different genre?
