i heard good things about this drama. but when i took a peek at the novel yesterday, the first paragraphs got…
Personally, I risked it and started watching even though I heard the same things from novel readers, which really turned me off. I have watched all 7 episodes so far and I can assure you that the writers have heavily modified the character of the ML and he is nothing like the novel version in terms of toxicity. I hope it stays this way until the end and we have a redeemable ML.
anyone watching this drama pls tell me if the FL character is annoying or not because i cannot tolerate that innocent…
Only up to the third episode but I find her character really likeable so far! Hope they don't mess it up and she recovers her memories and abilities soon.
I'm on ep 7 and seriously soo tired of the ml constantly targeting the fl and trying to harm her!!! When will…
This is why I don't want to start the drama yet. :( Waiting for any comments when he will finally soften up towards her as the romance is unbelievable for me at this point.
I haven't read through the comments here but has anyone pointed out the fact that the ML and FL are related. Regardless…
I agree with your feelings towards this trope, and it is definitely overused in all of cdrama land, lol. But below are some reasons why I am okay to continue to watch it for now. Also, both actor and actres are doing a great job thus far.
The female lead was adopted by the grandmother when she was young. There are no romantic feelings between the older brother she grew up with. It seems that the marriage is something the grandmother wants. The older brother is against it and the female lead seems to go along with it out of love and gratitude for the grandmother that perhaps saved her life by adopting her (speculation at this point since there are only 4 eps out).
The male lead (younger brother) and the female lead did not grow up together and are more like strangers at this point.
I think that's for the princess? The schedule has her picture on it so it's likely from her point of view
Youku often releases airing schedules with different hints for different characters, since novel is happy ending for our beloved couple, that broken heart in episode 40 must be related to the princess
