I guess ep 20 did respond to my question, they explained that basically all the seven sects are useless infront of the evil sect and the higher ups don't participate in any feud since all they are after at this point is longevity and strength 🙂

The only thing that I don't like about this series is that ALL characters strong and weak are selfish, what's the point of a sect if when push comes to shove, each man is for himself, no disregard for killing they don't even spend a second longer to mourn the person, they move on rather quickly, no one ever left an impact, and now that I think about it, there's also the useless sect leaders, I mean how many stupid big fights happened on your territory, they get wind of it just at the end and sometimes they don't even notice until someone tells them, what's the point of all that power and being a leader if you can't protect your own! That kinda made me loose interest in the plot, at this point I'm just watching for the little romance that could be left of it. Aghh I need some integrity people...
