The show would have been better if it focused on the MC and the killer more instead of giving too much scenes for the shaman and the wheelchair girl, with the wheelchair girl plot with her relation to the killer being even more unnecessary; when she met him at the second time it was even worse, with the killer once again not killing her and then being mean.... not needed at all, her whole plot was pointless, same with the occult-related shaman implications, which was a slog. The mc and the killer are definitely pretty interesting, it is unfortunate that there wasnt more of them. Would be a 10/10 or atleast close to that (9.5). The definition of wasted potential is this show, it had the elements to make it really good, yet wasted it.
These are the big flaws in what could have been perfect and that lower the score a lot.
Good drama. What i didnt liked was how much the series wanted to portray the judge as a bad evil guy even in the last episodes, when that wasnt the case at all. The mention of him supposedly killing the family dog was even ignored later after the previous "misdeeds" of him were revealed to not be actually misdeeds.
The main character also was annoying with how much he did conflicted with the judge (yo-han) over picky, technical law-related procedures while completely ignoring the big picture of what the judge was doing (he was doing actual justice against bad corrupted people, being pedantic and fair was not an option), while constantly looking for reasons to make the judge the bad guy. I liked the judge yo-han a lot, still was a good watch.
Great drama. The only flaw of it is how the series wanted to paint Baek as a psychopath that cant feel genuine emotions and to make the viewer guess if he really is a killer. Which contradicts his true display of emotions later.
It would have been better to portray his "psycho" side as a part of him that he created in response to being blamed and demonized in the place of his father's partner and that his "coldness" was a traumatic response, instead of blatanly making it so it seemed like he was in denial that he truly was a killer (as if he was trying to control his psycho side).
Later in the series the trauma perspective is indeed fleshed out a bit, but leaves the chunk of episodes about him being a "true psycho" a bit sour.
The decision of the main character to hide the bodies in his backyard along with all his effort to clean the van he took after is top ten one one of the most stupid decisions ever. He could have had taken the bag of money and let the van and the corpses simply there on the road.
Great show, the ending was rushed but still very good to see how it ended up (i think the number of eps was already determined). I liked the crime part of it as much as the emotional core of the show, though it was paced not well when combined with the earlier-than-it-should killer revelation. The emotional part i liked was about the main character.
Again, i bet that the episode count was already settled since the beginning and the plot had to fit.

Love the song "Feel You".
Aside from that, was a good watch, but held back.
