Because the actors r not traffic stars. In China reservations increase for dramas that have traffic stars or r from big production companies. This drama's production team is not as big as IP (Novel) and there is no popular actors either

Have u ever seen a big project made with a small actor in cdramas? No, their big projects are like those in which a big traffic actor acts, it doesn't matter how the story and acting is, if there is a traffic star then it consider a big drama. they can never make a drama like squid game or death game, our beloved summer or crash landing on you. No one has an original idea, they can only adapt popular novels into dramas. u can look at the chinese reviews of every high rated cdrama, they never talk about the story but only discuss how beautiful the actors look 😂. Yaa I agree that looks do matter a bit in idol dramas but why in every genre? Whenever I start watching a cdrama, I get bored after one or two episodes. There are only a few that I really enjoyed.

Cdrama really sucks. They always focus on beauty over acting and plot bc chinese ppl only want to watch handsome men and beautiful women in dramas, no one cares about the acting and storyline 🤣🤣. If any actor or actress doesn't look good in a drama then it consider a flop. Thousands of dramas are released on the same concept, neither the acting is worth watching nor the story, only the beauty of the actors is highlighted. There are only a few cdrama that are worth watching. I will not mention their names as people will start saying that I am just promoting my bias.

Nowadays in the C-ent I see a lot of actors calling themselves introverts as if it is something to be very proud of, but never see any signs in them 😂. Idk why they keep saying this in megazines or interviews. marketing, publicity, or something else? But as for Arthur, he is the real one. Recently I watched a video clip of him dancing with his co-star where he was so shy and so nervous that couldn't even look at the camera. He doesn't call himself an introvert but his co-stars do, rarely participates in activities, not even active on his own weibo account for long. Instead of making friends in the industry, he likes to spend his free time with family. He cooperates very well with everyone during the filming but once the filming is over he doesn't keep in touch with anyone. that's Arthur the real introvert person. I feel there are some similarities between him and the Lixun character he played 😂
