Absolutely they deserved it, that's the best punishment and best scene for me. The King trusted him so much but he betrayed him ,I'm so angry about the chief and Queen not that im supporting the King's proposal though but at least the chief would have done better I mean having someone trust you so much you shouldn't fail them
