I still love this drama but, the FL had no character development in 13 episodes. He is afraid of the killer, but hinders the investigation. And why? To avoid getting fined???

SML is still an aimless, useless character.

I looked again too. FL got drunk because of the return of his first love. She, in the flashback, said he wanted to confess his love. SML's name was never spoken. He was referring to ML all along. In fact, they cleverly play tricks in the drama with the scenes.
