I think they got around the regulations of having to wait a year by naming this series by a different name and registering this production separately. The first season sort of had a soft ending were they could argue that it did wrap up.

Yes that could have been squeezed into one episode but I think show wanted to give us moments where we get to see them falling in love and them being able to show their real selves to each other. But agree spent too much time there.

I sometimes rewatch on viki as they usually improve the subtitles and keep them on screen long enough to read. Occasionally I do pause but not as often as on OG sites.

His death was so heartbreaking but you knew, we’ve all watched too many dramas not to know, when he waved goodbye at the gates leaving to get the orchid that was the last time he would see his beloved. I always get nervous when our characters finally look to have a happy ending and the drama gods take it away…..
