tbh im so up for remaking classic thai bls/queer dramas with better production. some of these shows were pretty enjoyable at the time they were released but also really show their age now whenever i rewatch them. lovesick 2024 really improved on the original for me and i loved it a lot more.

i thoroughly enjoyed the show but phuwins delivery def stood out like a sore thumb. its the only aspect of this show that i didnt enjoy other than the ending. ive seen other bls with him and he was just fine there so i don't know why his acting felt so stiff here.

to those who binge watched the show: did you find the pace of the show slow? because to me i thought it was pretty normal. especially when you compare it to shows like i feel you linger in air. my hypothesis for complaints about the pace is that its from the people who were watching week to week so maybe they felt the show was slow because of that.

i don't know... i actually really enjoyed it? i'm no jisoo fan but i found her acting just fine. pretty standard for a romcom like this.

the drama's pace overall is quite fast but the second half feels a bit sluggish after how faster the first half is. i feel like they could squeeze in much more romantic development in the last 4 eps.

the boyfriend on demand device scenes and the cameos were peak though. i needed more of them.

yup, that official trailer was pretty good. feels very well done. now let’s just hope the show doesn’t disappoint 🤞

MAT had a very unique dynamic going on for it tbh. i can't think of any bl i've watched that's similar. there's "me and who" which seems as campy as me and thee but haven't watched it so can't say much. thai romcoms all pretty much do the same thing and to a degree so does this show but the characters in this one are very different from others.

it might be worthy to look into japanese romcoms though because they have a similar quality of being as absurd as this show. a man who defies the world of bl, school trip, kamisama no ekohiiki (this one gets a bit emotional too though), what did you eat yesterday, i became the main role of a bl drama, cherry magic, my love mix up and so on come up in my mind but there's plently more.

i also recently guilty enjoyed i'm the most beautiful count which is a trashy romcom bl that feels self aware in the same way me and thee was.

this was such a fun light hearted show. went in with high expectations because of the hype around the show and the ratings here and lets just say my expectations were 100% met. you can kinda say this about every moment in the show but the ending sequence was totally out of the box and super hilarious.

finally another gem from gmmtv that i can actually recommend to bl fans getting started with this genre. i feel like even if you end up being disappointed with the romance and chemistry, khun thee's character is simply iconic enough for one to enjoy this show.

first gmmtv bl i like in YEARS and its just 10 eps… oh now im mad… i hate that im already at ep 7.

well that trailer felt oddly tame and just reiterative. part of why the first season worked despite its low budget was how the characters felt complex and were tangled in complex relationships too. obviously too early to say but that felt missing from the trailer.

i will also have to say ohmleng were probably a far better fit for the roles here🤷

i think this series would’ve been more fun and crazier with just the two red flag characters as love interests.

hopefully theyre able to make another great show and they didnt just luck out on this

felt the same. i really enjoyed the few early scenes where khem and master were having a enemies to lovers coded banters. i think the show wouldve been elevated to 10/10 if khems personality was more fun at times.

they look so good in the mv for the ost... whoever gave mr aloha that party city wig needs to be fired.

DMD spends far more money on their BLs than GMMTV does and they’re still in their growing pains stage.

ive only seen GMMTV invest this much on their non BL shows like F4 Thailand and scarlet heart.
