Thank you for saying that. It's hard for me to remember sometimes that I don't have to force myself to like something because everyone else does. I always try to give things a chance so I managed to finish the rest of the first episode, though I had to mute it and look away at parts. Started the second episode and if it gets too much I probably will just drop. Again thanks for being supportive I really appreciate it. Don't see it too often on here

I agree with you that people are hating on Bawoo too much. However I think you've misunderstood something: Hoon didn't realise his feelings after reading the notebook. He already liked him. He already knew he liked him. He has liked him this entire time. He only realised that *Bawoo likes him back* after reading his notebook (which btw I do agree that he shouldn't have). He says it within the first 10 minutes of the last episode fyi, "I liked you first, idiot."
also this does not matter in the slightest but his name is Hoon, not Jihoon. I also didn't realise it at first lol, but Ji is his surname, not part of his given name. Do Bawoo, Jung Hamin, Ji Hoon, etc.

maybe it wasn't intentional? P'/Phi/Pee just means "older sibling" and is used as a sort of honorific for anyone older that isn't like an "aunt/uncle" kind of age difference. And "Tuck" could just be an unfortunate choice of spelling for the romanised name. I am not Thai so idk for sure but I am learning the language since three years now, and I am fairly certain it's probably just the spelling in English is weird but that it has a completely unrelated meaning in Thai.
