wtf, Han young and His ex-wife Se hi had the best chemistry everrr in the new life of ML.
My mom, when she was alive, always taught me to be polite and to respect others, regardless of what they say to you. Never—ever—did she teach me to use disrespectful words toward others, because what goes around comes around. And it truly proves that good fruit can only come from a good tree.
I like the fact that the writer included a fly in the drama. When a fly finds raw meat, it breeds and maggots grow. Creatively, to me, this is a powerful analogy showing how dark and corrupt people’s hearts can be..so much so that they even resort to threatening others. That is the level and degree to which what is inside a person eventually shows on the outside.
These people always want to impose their opinions on others, like dictators. I didn’t go into other people’s spaces to lay out my opinions. I was peacefully in my own space, writing my heart out, and suddenly someone became so angry over my views. If you believe so strongly in your own opinion, then share it in your own space. Don’t force others to agree with you. We are not zombies or robots that can be easily manipulated or swayed like tall grass bending in the wind. It really reminds me of a country that practices this kind of enforcement. As a quote in The Judge Returns says:
“An individual’s idea of justice cannot change the world… The only people who believed they were the only ones to *save the world (and I add, to *have what they consider the right opinion according to their standards and rules) .. were dictators,” Judge Lee Han Young.
Thank you Jisung I love your dramas including this one.
The drama isn't very bad but the acting didn't impress me much. I think ML's acting is inadequate. Not bad but…
How can anyone expect acting gymnastics when the script itself is inadequate, limiting the actors and not giving them much to work with? Among all the good-looking actors out there, this ML is one of the best imo. He looks and acts completely different here compared to his previous drama, and he did it convincingly. The two ladies are good actors too, very natural. The prosecutor is playing a stern character, and the reporter is a bubbly, energetic reporter.
Well… maybe you just don’t prefer a character who is good, kindhearted, and fights for justice, and the kind of person who brings light. I guess that’s hard to appreciate, and I’m not surprised since most people in the real world are wicked and mean.
wtf, Han young and His ex-wife Se hi had the best chemistry everrr in the new life of ML.
She is like a fly that Judge HanYoung saw in the kitchen while washing the dishes 😅... buzzing and making noise. With those pouting lips of hers, she thinks it’s so sexy, but it’s really just annoying. Honestly, she’s behaving like a baby, immature, a spoiled brat. Maybe you’re wearing a blindfold, I don’t know...
You can be as disrespectful as you want, but everyone on this earth has the right and freedom to express whatever opinion they have. Clearly I don’t support DICTATORS controlling other people’s speech. I’m sure the actress herself is a good person in real life, just a lady-baby here. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...Truly.
This drama is an empty, meaningless story for those who always keep their room covered with blinders and never let the light in. I don’t understand why people don’t like dramas full of kindness, empathy, and justice triumphing over evil… darkness can’t stand the light. True enough.
I love the chemistry between HanYoung and Cheolwu it feels very natural and effortless. They really do look like long-time friends rather than just coworkers or judge-prosecutor buddies. With StoneJHo, it feels a bit awkward at times especially at the very beginning of the drama.
The ex-wife, I don’t like seeing this character, no chemistry at all with HY imo. There’s something off, though I can’t pinpoint what. Like SeonA in the drama The Devil Judge she’s a villain, but somehow I still enjoy watching her. There’s chemistry between her and JKYohan, and her actions are sometimes oddly funny and kind of makes you smile, you can’t help it. ( The current one tries to do the same, but how come I'm not smiling? ) Also, can’t help noticing HY always gets defensive around his wife… he’s scared of his ex-wife 😅 .. or, maybe I just don’t like female characters who look snobbish, acting like they’re so beautiful that everyone will instantly fall for them...gosh..
KSJin, the male villain, I like to see, effortlessly villainous and very attractive at the same time. The way he eats makes all the food look so delicious! 😋 As for the other two ladies JinA & NaYeon, at least there’s chemistry between them and HanYoung. I enjoy seeing them. The ones I really like the most are the parents. They are so perfectly right for HY.
It’s so funny the nurse just left HanYoung without finishing changing his bandage. It’s like she’s saying, “Ah, you can do it yourself, you’re Doctor John." Haha..😅
Is the ex-wife character supposed to be cute and funny? To me, she’s more annoying. Imo, It’s the prosecutor…
That means the ex-wife, from the very beginning, knew what her family was like manipulative and corrupt, yet she went along with it, even helping them achieve their plans. In other words, she has a cold, wicked heart...the ex-wife. She has no stance of her own. Like tall grass bending in the wind, she is easily influenced by anyone and everyone, because she lacks empathy, morality and principles. (This really happens in real life. But only if people would take off their blinders can they see it) She lacks the decency to guide, or help her husband onto the right path, and instead colludes with her family to destroy him. And for what? Because she values comfort, power, and money more than morality and empathy.
Even in the early episodes..dont remember exactly which, when a waitress accidentally spilled water on her, she was quick to raise her hand, and about to slap her...if not for the judge intervening. That alone shows how arrogant her heart is and how spoiled she is.
Perhaps, in time, she will learn kindness and goodness from Judge LHY. Maybe that’s the ending the writer has in mind. But in my imagination, the ending would be…The ex-wife becomes a better, more empathetic, good person. She eventually loves the ex-husband and wants to marry him …but the ex-hubby Judge LeeHanYoung says, “I’m sorry, I’m not ready... If your love for me is real, you will wait.. 😅 That's brave. Or in the other ending, the ex-wife eventually turns good and finally sees the light and they get married. To me, that’s boring.. Who knows...✨️

You can tell from her body language that she likes him and really is fond of him. But if I were Judge HanYoung why would I ever marry someone I knew would lie in court, betray me and abandon me and end up divorced? Abandoning her ex-husband when he's in trouble is inhumane! Can you imagine the trauma HanYoung went through?
If she truly had a good heart, she would have helped her ex-husband instead of letting him become a puppet controlled by her father, bro, sis, judges and the corrupt system. Instead, she allowed herself to be influenced by her wicked family. In the second-chance world, perhaps JudgeHY tries to change her or redo or renew their relationship idk.. But can people truly change their hearts when wealth and power are in their hands, or does it only reveal their true nature?
HanYoung must make the right choice. No matter how the writer spins the story, I still find the ex-wife irritating. Pretty? Yes. Cute? No. Maybe I just don’t like the kind of cute you all see.. Romance? Ice-cold. Chemistry? Nonexistent. I just can’t feel it. If JudgeHY wants to date the other two ladies, I’m okay with it. He has more chemistry with them :) At the end of the day, the writer can twist the story however they want... It’s just my opinion. Feel free to think differently ✨️
hanyoung having more chemistry with park cheolwoo than with his wife was not on my bingo card but hell yeah i'm…
Is the ex-wife character supposed to be cute and funny? To me, she’s more annoying. Imo, It’s the prosecutor PCW who steals the humor, and the chemistry between PCW and Judge LHY is so good to watch— Doctor John anyone?
I'm making that iconic playful smirky smile, just like Judge KYohan in The Devil Judge.. God always wins because He already knows the future. His awareness of the future ensures nothing can prevent His victory. Only believers who have read the Basic-Instructions-Before- Leaving-Earth book, cover to cover, will understand it fully. The Judge LHanYoung, being given a second chance and spared from death implies that the hand of divine intervention is at work. Noticing the God analogy makes the drama far more appreciated, enjoyable and worth watching.. To non-believers, it may seem like an empty story, but to believers, it’s a meaningful journey from darkness to light. Enjoy 💟
