Everytime I see sheng Wang:olelelelelele☺️☺️he is too freaking cute.Today's ep was nice too, it's been…
I agree with you! I’m obsessed with this show lol. I think from Wang’s perspective, the first kiss was nothing and the second one was just Tian getting back at him (after Wang said “an eye for an eye”). I’m looking forward to their actual kiss!
In the past three episodes, Wang has consistently refused to eat anything Tian’s mom has cooked or prepared. This includes the surprise dinner in episode 1, the dinner she made when Tian moved in, the breakfast, and the baked vegetable casserole. The latter was particularly significant as it triggered a traumatic memory for Wang. However, a shift occurs toward the end of episode 3 when he finally accepts the honey lemon water, a gesture that symbolizes his mother’s warmth and care whenever he was ill. This acceptance is notable because it happens through Tian (who made sure he drank the drink). Wang knows Tian cares and is gradually opening up to the care and affection he's been resisting. He’s built up a wall and our man Tian is slowly breaking it down.
The level of detail that the screenwriters and director has put to the show is 💯. Can’t wait to see more.
This attitude right here, I love it. I never much cared for comparison that's why I love both the Japanese and…
Hard agree with you both. I'm glad that I'm the type of person who can enjoy things easily. I appreciate the everyone's efforts in giving us COMPLETE episodes to this amazing novel. It's also interesting that this show is running simultaneously with The On1y One.
Did anybody else notice that the main story takes place in the past? (use of iPhone 5, yellow-ish color grading, old Windows installed in the Physics teacher’s pc?). I haven’t read the novel but I feel like we’re going to have a time jump to the present some time soon.
People may call this show boring, but I think this is a very healing drama. I like how they explore the themes of grief and anxiety. It might be a bit slowburn, but I'm in for the ride!
First two episodes were amazing! The show makes you feel like you’re really watching high school students who are actually studying. The length gives the characters time to develop and by the end of episode 2, you somehow feel closer to the leads and would want to know more about them. I hope they keep the quality up cause there’s 10 more episodes coming.
There are lots of funny moments in the show and I’m glad that it’s not too edgy. I also like that the parents are kind and not portrayed in a “villainous” way. I’m so glad we have this show as my current on-going favorites (I Hear the Sunspot, and Cosmetic Playlover) are almost ending.
The a/c, I agree with you.
